What we learned is that they were riled up and told to fight like hell or they wouldn't have a country and were capable of much more than thought.  We also learned that Trump watched this happen... let it happen... wanted it to happen and did nothing about until it was clear that it wasn't going to work before calling off the dogs.

So I agree with you now that we know that these people and their leader are extremely violent we will deploy the military to protect our democracy if needed.  It's a shame we have to do this to our own people but it's where we are.

Secret Service is lacking assets to protect Trump in Wisconsin outside, so he had to move it inside with far less people. Secret Service is busy protecting foreign dignitaries. This could be election interference by Kamala Harris and the Democratic machine. She is VP currently afterall and Biden would be more than happy to have an excuse for Trump to reach less people in a swing state.
