Recommended Posts

Steele isn't ready for the rb1 role.  Perine going to be a heavy roster add this week.

He jogged to the tent and jogged back ...stood upright the whole time... No more then a week or 2

being able to trot or jog 20 feet is different than being able to run with burst and making cuts.    At the end of the day they will scan/x ray his leg, do the ultrasound or whatever they do and figure out if its serious, short term, or long term.

I do hope its not serious.

damn.  This is gonna throw a wrench into my fantasy year.

he may not miss the season but he likely wont be able to be productive for me until the final weeks of the fantasy year.   maybe the fantasy playoffs.

not all fractures are the same.   you can have a hairline fracture which will hurt but wont be intolerable and you can have a spiral fracture where the pain will be unmanageable.

my hope is that this means its a less serious one.   those spiral fractures take forever to heal.

CEH would be the better target.

Clyde has "PTSD" from Vietnam or something.

LOL!

From NBC Sports

Perine profiles as the pass catching back while Steele should be the early-down option and goal line runner. Clyde Edwards-Helaire is on the NFI list and can return by Week 5.

I think I’m going to pick up CEH, and hold him for a few weeks.  When he returns, he will be their top rb.

He shot and killed someone in self defense this off season.

I wanted Pacheco but he was taken before me, he was clear above the rest.

Now this sounds like a mess RBBC.

Not now that they added Hunt.  I’m surprised they picked up Hunt, but yea I would probably have waited until next week and pick him up for some trash.

It’s tough because we do waiver priority and I think I’m second or third. I think Steele will be good for like a week or two, but then it’s probably going to be hunt isn’t it?

Everyone would be trying to pick up Steele , I’m in first one league , third the other no shot for Steele, so I figured if I wanted in on the fun why not take CEH after this weekend.

Yeah, I’m definitely torn. Feels like Steele will play this week and then maybe Hunt after but yeah CEH is right there, but it also makes me think I should just avoid it altogether and not waste a high waiver priority.

Avoiding it might just be the right move. We don't know if Hunt is in football shape, and if you read the article about CEH, it sounds as if he's pretty messed up.

Probably the wise choice would be to avoid.
