Obviously that is inexcusable behavior from the lady, probably a childless cat lady.

But not good parenting by the dude either.  First of all he’s holding a microphone, so I’m guessing he’s a righty that was trying to instigate (success, although again in no universe should the lady have done that).  And even after she yells at the kid he picks up the kid and continues talking to the lady.  Looks to me like that’s exactly the interaction he was hoping for.

Not surprised @Reality doesn’t know the definition of “inexcusable.”  Multiple people can be wrong in the same scenario.
