I have no doubt that it will be tried. I don’t think it will get very far. And if it does it will be terrible for us.

2) Close the border.  Deport all bad hombres

3) Energy Independence via fossil fuels, nuclear and other technology advancements 

4) Reduce foreign aid and get out of these quagmires.  Cut off Ukraine, broker peace in Middle East, re-evaluate our role with UN, NATO, and squash globalist goals.  America First. 
 

5) Secure our elections so 2020 never happens again.  Mandatory voter ID  Election reform to address all the dark money  End congressional insider trading

6) Reduce size of federal government and address waste. Re-tool all intelligence agencies. Fire or retire partisans  Clear out wokeness 

7) Health care reduce costs and Put the screws to Big Pharma

It's not my party. Registered independent. The Democrats can fock themselves. My hope is that they figure out how ridiculous they are and come back to earth, but that hasn't happened yet in my lifetime so I won't hold my breath.

It's not about being obtuse, it's about the joy that Harris didn't win. She looked very relieved herself in her concession speech. Now she can put her knee pads back on and go back to what she is good at and feeling comfortable in how she finds her next job. 

So it's a win-win for both Harris, and the conservative party.

I mean would term limits for Supreme Court justices be a bad idea? Would term limits for everybody in politics be a bad idea?

It is always interesting to note that when people were pushing to pack the Supreme Court and all that- Biden pushed back on it and still does.

I am interested in this topic, and I DO think term limits in some form has merit.  I DO NOT think expanding the court because its not doing what you want it to politically is an acceptable course of action.

I am being honest. I'm for term limits in all forms of government. Supreme Court would be included in that. Say a Democrat came into office and all the Supreme Court justices somehow died at the same time- would you really want a Democrat president putting in nine 35 year old judges to sit on the bench for 40-50 years? FLip the scenario and make it a Republican president doing it. A President is capped (hypothetically) at 8 years. Maybe a Supreme Court justice gets 12.

2.) Set term limits for politicians- he said he would back when he first announced he was running a second time. Besides- if you are the outsider, then piss off the insiders

3.) veto or push back against any abortion legislation that disallows abortions at any point before 10 weeks

Well, I think it depends.  All politicians are interested in power.....so term limits in general are a threat to them.....and they will all resist it to the extent it might threaten their power..... I so think there are a subset of politicians who DO want term limits, but most of them do not.....

Voter ID....if you object to voter ID then....IMHO.....you are interested in cheating during an election.   In our society today, almost anything you want to do requires some form of ID....and we know in places where ID laws have been implemented voting is strong and often stronger than before....so yeah, people who oppose ID are telling us who they are....
