So no talks about voter fraud?

long time FFT members know the back story behind my name. As a 13 year old kid I thought  'The White Wonder'  was a fun nickname for Wayne Chrebet.  It was racial but not meant to be 'racist'. Then again, those were not the woke times.   If I could edit it to just be Wonder, I would.

Got it, I was just having some fun with your moniker, not trying to make a statement. But as someone that has embraced a bit of my white privilege, specifically while operating motor vehicles, I highly recommend giving it a try. Very liberating!

No one is talking about fraud because most of it was stopped this time.  There was a semi-truck which started to carry boxes into a polling location in Philly, but turned around and left when they saw it was being guarded by Republican pole watchers.

There were a total of

741,377 votes in PHI in 2020 - Biden 81.44% Trump 17.90% Jorgenson .65%

With (Estimated) 95% of the votes counted out of Philadelphia in 2024 - Harris 78.88% Trump 20% Stein .9% Oliver .3% -

Total Votes in 2020 - 741,377

Total Votes (Est. 95% so far) in 2024 - 719,755

So with almost 36,000(est) votes out there still to be counted....the total for PHI County in 2024 would be (approx) 755,742

So no real reduction in votes from PHI County.....

Donald Trump did better and the there was more of a presences of a Third Party Candidate in 2024 compared to 2020.  There was no "phantom" vote dumps....at least in PHI.

Apparently.

I'd imagine that the roving bands of looters and dirt bike meetups in Philly contributed to PHI shifting a point for him.  Be interesting to see how much more he gained in the suburbs of PHI.

As a Centrist, I'm content with the results as I do believe America spoke.  Obviously the candidate I wanted to win; didn't....but I'm not to cry foul or any of that other crap.  It made you guys look like children after 2020....it will do the same for the Democrats if they're doing it now.

I'm not really interested in rooting against the country either....and Trump is the country at the point.  I hope everyone in this country is better off and happy in 4 years and I hope we still have good standing in the world.  I don't know if that's going to happen, but rooting against the country before we see exactly what he's planning isn't a good look.

That being said, if he screws up....I'll jump in with both feet.

You'll do that regardless and you know it. You've done it long before this election. Don't lie

White privilege?  gtfo with that tired nonsense. The election worker who checked me in was black. There were black and hispanic people in the school gymnasium where we were voting and none of them were showing any forms of identification.

My friend who lives in Carteret and is black was also not asked for her ID  (HAH!) . Nor my friends/family in Clark, Red Bank, Roselle etc... :dunno:

Oh, okay.

It’s actually funny that libs and democrats don’t realize their party is the party of racism now.
It’s in their best interest to keep minorities feeling marginalized and poor people feeling poor so they have something to sort of run on when abortion isn’t a hot button topic. Which is why they always SAY, but never DO.
but it looks like a lot of minority voters are catching on.

Also @TimHauck, much was made about the huge improvement from the Repubs in their registration and "get out the vote" efforts.  So I would expect more votes on the Repub side, anyway.

To me, the interesting thing in the end will be the vote differences per state, or maybe even districts within states.  I wouldn't expect much of a vote dump in, say, California which the Dems will definitely win.  But if there are statistically significant reduction this time around only in swing states, and/or within specific districts in those states... then I'm interested.

Just taking a quick look at some key swing states:

PA 2024: Trump 3.52 million, Harris 3.39, Trump/Harris total 6.91

PA 2020: Biden 3.46, Trump 3.38, Biden/Trump total 6.84

GA 2024: Trump 2.66, Harris 2.55, Trump/Harris total 5.21

GA 2020: Biden 2.47 million, Trump 2.46, Biden/Trump total 4.93

MI 2024: Trump 2.80 million, Harris 2.72, Trump/Harris total 5.52

MI 2020: Biden 2.80 million, Trump 2.65, Biden/Trump total 5.45

WI 2024: Trump 1.70 million, Harris 1.67, Trump/Harris total 3.37

WI 2020: Biden 1.63 million, Trump 1.61, Biden/Trump total 3.24

So in each of these 4 states, the total # of votes for the 2 candidates increased from 2020 to 2024.  And Harris even got more votes than Biden in 2 of them.  (AZ is still showing slightly less Trump/Biden totals but they still have about 4% remaining to count which should close that gap).

Just for comparison- in 2020 Trump did that press conference a day or two after the election saying it was rigged because he was losing- despite many down ballot Republicans winning.

In 2024- he says nothing because he won despite many down ballot Republicans losing in battleground states

Both, but I'm just going by those total vote counts.  Those 4 states seem to have a very consistent increase in votes (Georgia seems a little high in 2024 compared to the others, but it's probably the only one of those states which has a net gain of people).  And there seems like a consistent shift towards Trump.

That being said, if you are trying to get me to say "yay verily there were no shenanigans in 2020 at all," I'm not there yet.

I think there is a question that needs to be addressed.

During this election it appears as though 20 millions fewer Democrats voted this time around.

Where did those people go?  I think we need to understand whether or not this is evidence of voter suppression.  All those people stayed home and did not vote? Something is off.....

I didn't see 20M mentioned in that article.  2M (well, 1.9M)

Quote

Counties with the biggest Democratic victories in 2020 delivered 1.9 million fewer votes for Ms. Harris than they had for Mr. Biden. The nation’s most Republican-heavy counties turned out an additional 1.2 million votes for Mr. Trump this year, according to the analysis of the 47 states where the vote count is largely complete.

I simply know there were 20M less fabricated votes this election. Now that the conservatives were very careful to keep their eyes on the liberal cheating that happened in 2020.

Well, no......since the number is much smaller, I think it less important....and I find it strange that I have to explain that.....

I am under no obligation to do that.  Moreover, usually people pretend I "word salad" because I try to anticipate every little complaint that could possible arise.

So, make up your minds.....

here’s some more:

Trump currently at 72.6 million, Harris 67.9.  Compared to Biden 81.3 Trump 74.2 in 2020.

AZ: 67% counted, 1.1 million votes remaining, 52/47 Trump means 0.6 million Trump 0.5 million Harris

CO: 77% counted, 0.8 million votes remaining, 55/43 for Harris means 0.4 million Harris 0.3 Trump

MD: 79% counted, 0.7 million votes remaining, 60/37 for Harris means 0.4 million Harris 0.3 million Trump

WA: 79% counted, 0.8 million votes remaining, 59/39 for Harris means 0.5 million Harris 0.3 million Trump

So just from these 5 states means 11.5 million more Trump+Harris votes, not even counting the other states not done counting yet.  And of those 11.5 million, 6.4 million would be projected to go to Harris and 4.7 million Trump based on current %’s, putting Trump at 77.3 million and Harris 74.3 million, so only a net difference of -4 million vs 2020 (again not counting remaining votes in other states).  That would also drop the popular vote to a 2% margin.

Update: Trump 76.4, Harris 73.7.  California alone still probably over 1 million votes to count.

Harris down -7.6 million vs Biden (yet people like the racist @iam90sbaby still spouting verifiably false numbers in other threads), Trump up 2.2 million vs 2020.

It's over Johnny, it's over.

We don't count California, it's a documented Liberal Cesspool. We'd expect no different
