Two former Democrats who saw all the corruption and insanity the current Democrat Party has turned into.  While I don't agree with all of their stances and have my questions, I do believe these two things about these two people.  1. They are about as authentic as any politician can be.  Switching "sides" and facing all that backlash is a huge risk both personally and professionally and only a person who is true to their convictions would do such a thing.  2. They care.  They care about the health of Americans and/or their safety.  Their heart is in the right place.  Nobody is perfect, but I'll sign off on both based on the above.

The delays were not so bad overall IMHO.

I think the Democrats are working pretty hard to prevent good things being provided to the American people, but right now they can only really delay positive outcomes. I surmise this will be the tactic moving forward.

I think this could backfire on them.  The more people see them as impeding progress for the people, the more people move away from them. I think they still need to use this strategy, but maybe tweak it just a bit.

This is fair. We spent 4 years reminding liberals of the mistake made in electing Biden. I would expect liberals to now try to find every possible toe hold to pretend Trump is somehow worse, which he of course is not.   The most important thing we can do now is remember that the Democrats have turned the act of lying into an every moment activity, and the media steadily puppets their lies without restraint.  So be cautious what you believe, ,so far the lies have been called out as they arise, but Democrats lie rather easily so we need to be on high alert.

I hope you're right, but a lot of people are losing their jobs. I just hope it's true that our government is really trying to be more efficient, to stop waste and corruption and down-right theft. I just feel like, good people who were doing the right thing are getting hurt in the process. Lastly, that it's like Jenga, cutting the wrong thing will hurt our country. 

I notice that conservatives didn't mind the cuts are now upset about them now that they know it will affect their jobs or schools as well. It seems, as long as those bad people in the cities don't get any government assistance, it's a good thing, but us good people in rural areas deserve help. Do you see how the hypocrisy makes this whole thing unfair? It's like, they don't mind the suffering of anyone that isn't one of them.

 I know. I feel the same. I’ve learned to try and trust our instincts and our common sense. It’s getting harder and harder, but for some reason, I still have trust in the powers that be to do the right thing for the people. As JFK said in his inaugural speech, “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country” Very powerful words that seem to be forgotten.
