House Dem faces backlash for 'promoting physical violence' at DOGE protest

Recommended Posts

What's new? Liberal violence? Not new.

Congressman Mfume. Of course.

A Democratic congressman is facing heat from conservatives on social media after promoting the idea of a "street fight" at a protest pushing back against Elon Musk’s recent efforts to slash government waste through the newly created DOGE office.

"This will be a congressional fight, a constitutional fight, a legal fight, and on days like this a street fight, yes we will stand," Democratic Rep. Kweisi Mfume, who has represented Maryland’s 7th Congressional District since 2020, said at a rally in Baltimore on Monday outside the Social Security Office.

Why insult people who work hard at Arby’s?  You don’t like capitalism? You must be a socialist.  Get lost fool  Indeed

Mark 8:12   And He sighed deeply in His Spirit, and said, Why does this generation seek after a sign?

Verily I say unto you, There shall be no sign be given unto this generation.  Amen Thanks

Wait, wasn't that the married NAACP Prez from back in the day who was embezzling money and focking all the staffers who had to step down in shame?

I've said this over and over.  January 6th was bad for a lot of reasons.  One ancillary factor that came from this was all of a sudden the right was the party of violence.  And the dems were swimming in it after Trump got elected and it ran for the 4 years he was in office.  Constant calls for violence, from elected people too(Maxine Waters anyone).  They have shown to be the violent party over and over and over.  Liberals losing their collective minds and threatening assignations, and general violence against MAGA types.  Talking about punching them in the face, harming them physically etc etc.   They have been doing this for a long long time, and January 6th flipped that narrative.   Now it appears to be back again, and even more strongly that before.

Make no mistakes..The left will absolutely use violence to satisfy their feelings.   They have proven this.  And it's really ingrained in them

Violence is a FEATURE of the left, not an exception.  Been saying that for years.  They're no different than their Marxist ancestors, who also proclaimed "equality" but then systematically killed 100 million or more of their own people just in the 20th century alone.

They will ABSOLUTELY line you up against the wall once they have the opportunity to do so, especially all the useful fools who currently support them.

Agree. But this was not always the case. It really started with Obama, though I hesitate to suggest HE started it.  No, I think it was simmering in our universities for years. We allowed people with sick minds to teach kids for years, and those kids propagated their sickness into others.  And now we have some rather poorly developed "adults" securing power.

Identity politics was the core. But the mission was even deeper. Obama championed the idea and ran full on with it. He was a likeable personality from afar. But he was, and is, scum of the earth. The single most effectively divisive human being in the history of this country.

Those are facts.

I do look back and see that the Obama admin introduced a turn in our society, and not for the better.

Yep, it's painfully obvious today - not so much in 2008.

Remember - all these grievance groups don't want "equality" - they want revenge, money and power.  See South Africa on how "equality" has worked out.

I don't agree.  I really feel it was Trump.  When he won, the left flipped out.  Massively.  the media went insane, which influenced a lot of people and they lost it.  Obama was divisive sure, but the right just whined about him mostly.  Never wanted to be violent against him.  Once Trump won though, the floodgates opened.

I see the merit in your opinion.  I might counter with the idea that Trump being elected was actually a response to what Obama did.  It was the actions of Obama that led us to Trump.

Well, I think Trump was a reaction to Hillary more.   And the reason Trump got in wasn't what started the violence.  It the fact that Trump did get it.  That caused the left to flip out

I disagree, but only because Trump as a candidate really started under Obama ad before Clinton was a candidate.   Now, agree completely on the left flipping out.

Its notable that the left used lamentation about chaos under Trump as a reason to not vote for him......yeah, THEIR focking chaos....so their stance was, dont vote for Trump or else....

Well, political violence in the United States was normalized by the left. Hell, Democrats outright supported it.

Words are only violence if those words in any way challenge a liberal position.....otherwise, those who refuse to submit to liberalism get violence because they deserve it.....sorry, not my rulz

I think you are missing the total point of it.  It wasn't that Trump ran, it was he won.   The left wouldn't have cared if he lost and they wouldn't have lost their minds.

You right, Trump may have run because of Obama

I was calling it out early in his second term. Remember, his identity politics had a strong base of black "inclusiveness". And that word did not and still does not mean to them what it actually means to normal people. And that thinking was distributed in a manner of black people 1st, homosexuals and the rest of the alphabet 2nd, other races of color and women 3rd, and white males pay up. "We want your jobs, we want your money, we want to be given the respect you earned. Give it up or we will find a way to make you pay. We will start off by calling you all racists and homophobes 24x7x365. Next up we will get the DOJ involved, then the violence in the streets." And all the white liberals bought in and doubled down on it all.

We went for 50 years of learning not to see race and to treat everyone equally. Simply put, don't be racist. It was obviously working. Just look back over the evolution of this country as far as race. No country has done what this country has done on that front. And look at the changes from the 1800s to the year 2000. Then comes obama and blows it up. This country made an about face as far as race relations are concerned. All under the ruse of identity politics.

Using negative language doesn't solve anything. I know this. Just like using negative energy almost never results in positive change. But this is just ridiculous.

I saw a post where someone said "Our friends from other countries are asking us why we aren't protesting."

What a lame and brain dead way to counter what's going on. These people do not get it. Protesting only drives negative energy up, and it leads to more damage and harm. It won't lead to any lasting positive change.

If these groups of people wanted to make a difference, they would gather and channel their positive energy into the things they stood for, not against. It would have a far greater impact.

If you are in these protests or rooting for them, you are being lead around by the nose again. You are on the side of pedophiles, trannys who want to get into women's spaces, the mentally unhinged, and the deep state. Great call protesting on their behalf.

You understand nothing of energy and it's effects. Educate yourself. Quit being ignorant.

Protesting (with just a few college students at first) resulted in eventually ending the war in Vietnam and ultimately the draft. I am sure that it was not an isolated incident and there are probably plenty of other examples of protesting leading to a lasting positive change.
