Damn is this woman tough!

I’ve never particularly liked AOC. I always thought she was too leftist for me. I still don’t agree with many of her ideas. But at this time in our history when we desperately need someone to stand up for immigrants she has taken the lead. She’s becoming a heroine to me.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez @AOC

Medicaid is not for sale.

NASA is not for sale.

The Post Office is not for sale.

America is not for sale.

We have an obligation to resist kings. We outnumber the oligarchs. And they can be overwhelmed.

You butt-lick for an authoritarian state and you believe the person who tries to dismantle these authoritarians is the dictator.  The left has created a new level of retards.

msnbc link?

You might as well given us Pravda or the Pyongyang Times links.

What a retard.  AOC is as as dumb as a box of rocks.  Anyone remember her crying in front of an empty parking lot a few years ago and trying to pass it ff as a illegal immigrant camp instead of a photo op?   Yeah, me too.

The democrats thought whe they pulled off Their coup and pivoted to Harris that it would increase their numbers with the Latin/ Hispanic vote. It didn’t.  They should have asked me. I could have told them it wouldn’t.

The only thing I trust AOC to do is make me a "Sloe comfortable screw up against the wall"....

It's a drink and she is a bartender, but I have a feeling she doesn't know how to make it.

Because we want the mail to be guaranteed. It’s a basic government service like police or fire department.

On the other hand in this world of emails and other messaging perhaps it’s no longer necessary to have it under government control. That’s why I said I’m not sure. There are those who are suspicious of how this would affect elections but I’m not concerned about that aspect too much.

Not to throw water on a hyperbolic tweet, but who would want to buy Medicaid?   This isn't even rational

Our post office in my zip has had numerous investigations due to checks being removed from envelopes, "washed", and then fraudulently deposited after the theft.  We've had local employees arrested on more than one occasion.  We get mail that is delayed weeks, in a few occasions months.  Everyone here knows using our post office has its risks.  This isn't a rural area, likely one of the more affluent zips in the state.  Yet they've had to move the dropboxes inside the building because of the outdoor boxes constantly being broken into in order to get their hands on checks and identifying documents.  Perhaps it can be fixed by reform, but in the modern world and with the mess that the government is it's much more likely to be run better by a private company.  The mail itself is going the way of the old big box stores though thanks to technology and the internet.

Generally speaking the private sector ia better at these things than the government.

Personally I would have no issue with mail being delivered 3 days a week.  I dont need junk mail daily

Mail everyday is stupid. Like spending 4 cents to make a penny stupid. Mail once a week and no more coins below a quarter.

At the very least the penny and nickel should become obsolete.  If paying in cash, just round it up.
