They have 2 first round picks for next season which is going to be a really really good QB class. I'd throw Sheduer in there as a sacrificial lamb and see what happens. He'll either progress or fall on his ass. 5th round draft capital, who cares?

This was the most privileged kid in the draft, admitted he never stepped on campus for a single college class, and reports are leaking now from teams that he gave the absolute worst draftee interview they’ve ever seen! Ray_T 739 Posted Monday at 04:28 PM well, I dont think it matters either way. if Sheduer isnt good enough to displace flacco, they will draft a QB either way

I agree. this is where the coachability issue will make or break him. if Sheduer is coachable, there is a real chance he could displace Flacco. of course they shouldnt bench Flacco if he has the team in a playoff spot but this IS the browns so who knows..... but if the team is .500 or worse by mid season and one of the kids drafted is looking good, they will probably get a shot if they are flashing in practice. however, if the kids are not looking like NFL calibre starters, they should continue to go with Joe regardless of record unless they are actually trying to tank. DocNiner 67 Posted Monday at 09:50 PM On 2/24/2025 at 7:28 PM, nobody said: These QBs that hold the ball all day don't live up to the hype in the pros... Trevor Lawrence, Caleb Williams, Darnold, Zach Wilson... Couple that with him being a little undersized, the perception that his main focus is getting paid (cough-MHJ-cough), and now I'm watching this QB select video of him and Cam Ward working out and I see Cam Ward constantly challenging Sanders and I'm getting flashbacks to Micah Parsons working out with Kyle Pitts, and Parsons was constantly challenging Pitts to prove he was the best and Pitts wasn't really interested. And then on top of all of that, you have to deal with Deion doing a Lavar Ball impersonation. Nah, I'm good. Yeah NOBODY, I'm gonna have to agree with you on Mr. Sanders. I'm.sure Shedeur thinks himself as NFL caliber starting QB and I'm.sure daddy Deion thinks the same. It was said that some of the interviews Shedure had with some teams were not so pleasing and desirable to some of the NFL teams. Maybe it could have been some cockiness he had of himself and how talented he thinks he is. Yes I do agree that he does have some talent. The rub here with him is whatever team drafts him, that being the BROWNS, he will bring some baggage along with himself that I don't think a lot of the teams wanted to deal with. No doubt daddy DEION orchestrated a lot of his pre-draft personna that probably left a lot of teams not wanting to deal with Shedeur and Deion drama which will certainly happen. Deion is gonna have his analysis on his boy.and push to have him.playing sooner than later. Shedeur does have talent and it'll be interesting tonsee how things shake out in training camp when he'll be looking to prove he's more talented than Riley Leonard. He may be, but if he focuses on.how he can help the Browns win there's a chance he could end up starting week1 for Cleveland. Even with his talent he still wasn't drafted until the 5th round. That to me just shows what all the NFL thought of the young Sanders. Looking at the depth chart for the Browns QBs it is far far from.stellar. I don't think that Joe Flacco should be the starter and Shedeur should be able to beat out Kenny Pickett. So as I see it the battle between Leonard and Sanders in training camp will yell who will be the Browns starter week1. In reality Shedeur probably landed in the best spot for himself given the current Browns QB roster and that should at least provide him with the opportunity to prove he should be the starter come week.1 for Cleveland. We are.just getting started with the Shedeur.and Deion show and.just wondering when it's.going to implode leaving the Browns thinking.if they made a mistake in drafting Shedeur. I'm not wanting to bash Shedeur and I hope for his sake he handles this process like a pro. I do hope he has a good career but we will surely witness some hub bub with him as.teams.start off-season workout and then into training camp. Yet at this point I'm rooting for Riley Leonard to win the Browns starting gig. If that happens then I bet Deion will not be a happy camper.

He certainly made a good move getting a real agent. The sooner he cuts ties with the clown show the better. I would say that's what most any young athlete who has a smothering father like Deion should do. Unless of course you're like Bronny James and don't have the talent to make it otherwise. Should bake looked more closely and would have seen it was Dillon Gabriel they drafted. Even so Shedeur Sanders went to a team where he will have a real chance of being the starter. Gabriel will push Sanders and we'll see who comes out on top after training camp. Thanks for pointed out my mistake.
