Looks like the Giants are gonna get shut out on the decent QB’s and are rumored to be pivoting to Jameis, which I am 100 pct in favor of.

They should do what the Jets should have done. Let Cousins get cut and sign him to be a bridge. Good character, and can teach a rookie. Let the rookie take over in 2 years. Could draft one in round 2 or wait for 2026

ESPN reporting Darnold to Seahawks for $100/3 years.  I thought he would get closer to 40 a year.

They can’t protect an immobile QB like Cousins. They need a chuck and duck, and Jameis is perfect.

I mean neither is meant to be the long term answer. I think Cousins would be the better mentor to a potential draft pick. Though I suppose it doesn’t matter all that much

It doesn’t. I’m cheering on the spectacle. I want to be entertained and simultaneously make John Mara more sad so maybe he will get the Fock out of the way. He took the reins in 2005 and hasn’t Had one success bringing someone in. Not one. Guy thinks he’s a football man. He’s just the first born.

Sweet Jesus. Sweat is a good player but that’s a crazy amount of $ for a good but not great pass rusher. Hats off to Sweat though, he balled out in the SB and got the bag.

After requesting the Browns trade him so he could go elsewhere to win a Super Bowl, the Browns on Sunday agreed to terms with Garrett on an four-year, $160 million extension through 2030 worth $40 million a year, including $123.5 million in guarantees.

Atlanta Falcons have stated they are keeping Cousins to be their backup quarterback.

Strikes me as a dumb signing too.

That makes me feel a little better but I still have horrible visions of woody Johnson watching Fields run his way to 8 wins and giving him an extension 🤢

Fine with the Packers 2 moves.

Aaron Banks started for the 9ers in the SB vs the Chiefs. Allowed 1 sack last year.  Not a stud but said to be improving.  Elgton Jenkins will slide over to center to fill that posotion.

Nate Hobbs is an underrated CB for the Raiders.  Again not a stud but a quality starter who is only 25 years old.  Can play inside or outside. His best ball may be ahead of him.

Giants keep Slayton. Big deal, I know. But I would think that means they know they are getting a vet QB

“Boatload” is an exaggeration, but if your going to spend capital, spend it to protect your main asset.

I understand Texans have some big contracts coming up.   But didnt they have issues blocking for Stroud?  Seems wild to trade Tunsil.  They also traded Kenyon Green who wasnt panning out but still.  Seems like a wild thing to do.

I know they drafted that ND tackle a year or 2 ago.  Maybe they have decsnt replacements on their roster.  But trading one of the best LTs in the league when you have protection issues for your young QB who is about to be paid is certainly a choice.

The Giants have made some real improvements on defense. Still no QB. Which is kinda funny.

Vikings doing what they needed: shoring up the lines. G Fries, C Kelly, DT Allen. Resign CB Byron Murphy and RB Jones. I like it so far. McCarthy better be the real deal.

Lets say Rodgers goes to Pittsburgh.  Or we dont even have to say that.

What is the word on what the Giants are leaning on doing?

We have no idea how they view the QBs in thr draft.  But they could have options.  Tennessee may be up for trading out of 1st.  If they love Ward I suppose they could do that.  Not sure the pulse on Sanders after some of the rumors.  They could take him at 3.  Then you have the rising Dart.  Which its tough to say, does he rise a bunch ala Pennix and get jammed into the top 10 or 12?  If the Giants like him they could potentially move back some and take him.  Of if hes not going to move up that far they could tradenup into the first from their 2nd and try to land him.

Outside of that, not a ton to love about this QB class on paper.  I wouldnt touch Milroe in almost any round.

Stop gap and suck again and wait for the QB next season?  If so Inwouod trade back some where to accumulate a 2026 pick to make sure I have ammo next year if need be.

Word is Wilson if they don’t get AR. I’d prefer Winston or Mariotta but they have to get someone or Tennessee holds a gun to their head to move up. I’d like Carter and move up to get Dart.

As a Cards fan, I'm sorta glad they did something, but I'm always concerned when you overpay for a guy who was a cog (albeit a good one) in an otherwise excellent unit.  Will he do as well on a lesser unit?  Probably not.

Sweat is a really good player, but I think he benefitted a lot from playing on a stacked DL. He’ll make AZ better but I don’t see him as a game wrecker by any stretch.

If he stays healthy, it's a great fit for Buffalo. A big if. The Bills rotate their d-linemen as much as anyone in the league so he won't have to be out there all the time which will hopefully help keep him on the field.

I’m over Aaron Rodgers to the Giants. Doubt it was happening anyway, but it would have been fun. Just sign Jameis please.
