No they shouldn't, it's not practical, and the Constitution doesn't require it. Just because you wishcast something doesn't make it true. As I said initially, it's patently false.

Otherwise known as Due Process, which Garcia was initially denied, which is why he became a topic of national discussion and a cause célèbre for Democrats and liberals. For some reason MAGA folks here want to fast track all deporations and circumvent the Constitution.

Every single person the government attempts to deport should absolutely get their day in court, with proper representation, no matter how long it takes. Exceptions and limitations to having a court hearing Expedited removal: Immigrants who are apprehended within 100 miles of a U.S. border and have been in the country for less than two years may be subject to expedited removal. This process allows the government to deport people without a full hearing before an immigration judge. An exception is made if the person claims a credible fear of persecution or torture in their home country. In that event, they receive a hearing to determine if they qualify for asylum. He’s referring to the court order that you were wrong about a month ago but then forgot you said anything about. It doesn’t prevent them from deporting him, it just says they need to give him a 72 hour notice of what country they plan to send him to, give him an opportunity to argue if he has a credible fear of going to that country, and ensure that that country isn’t going to send him to El Salvador.
