Shedeur Sanders is being disrespected.

Dumb kid- I never mentioned that site.

One of the sites I did mention that you used I showed you they did not have him in the top 5.

You really are not smart.

A site like the ones your reference, idiot.  Your entire argument in this thread has been wrong and stupid.  Par for the course with you.

It's nothing like what I referenced you dolt. And then when you tried to reference a site I use I proved how wrong you were.

Again- take the L and move on. You look like a bigger dope than usual at this point.

It literally aggregates all the retarded sites you were citing to claim Sanders was a first round pick and then claiming Willis never was considered one.  This has to be another Sho alias, you retard.

I said I read multiple sites to look for trends but I also said I focus more on the scouting sites.

You said "Malik Willis- all your sites had him top 5 (you didn't specify top 5 overall or top 5 QB so I was nice and gave you the latter as the benefit of the doubt)..."

So I pulled one of my sites and showed that he was 7th on their draft board at the QB position.

Your response was "Here's a site that averages mocks together and it shows him as the 20th best player."

An average of things means exactly dickall to the discussion because I don't read, nor value, the opinion of such esteemed people like "Fantasy Law Guy, Packernet, Flurry Sports, Baltimore Beatdown, and Purple PTSD."

To keep it simple for you- if you had Sanders as the 10th overall pick in the 1st round and I had him 30th- the conclusion should not be "EVERYONE HAS HIM IN THEIR TOP 20." The conclusion should be "There are wildly different opinions on this player and where they go."

From scouts he was all over the place.  Some had him up there.  Some said late 1st.  Some said 2nd or 3rd at best.  At least from what I read straight from their mouth.

Perhaps the scouts that liked him a lot werent with a team with a need or in any position to want to take him?

What exactly are you guys still arguing about?  Are people still crying racism or blackballed?

Nobody has argued since May 1st. Captain Obvious was saying some dumb things and ran off in the thread

I probably took a look at 25-30 big boards and mock drafts and didn’t see a single one that had Sanders outside Round 1 or Dart ahead of him.

In the days leading up to the draft, rumors of Sanders’ bad attitude started to leak and he started getting mocked in the late 1st / early 2nd range. No one I saw had him falling outside that range.

“It’s not about being a brand,” the decision-maker added. “It’s about being a teammate and earning a job.”

3 NFL high level executives summary above...Seems like all of them had the same feeling.  To bad the Mock drafter and blowhards, who aren't writing the checks, led you down the wrong path

Yes, too bad. I’ll have to rewatch the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles absolutely kicking the shiit out of the Chiefs to feel better about being misinformed about Sanders draft value.

A Colorado fan is suing the NFL $100M for the stupidest reason imaginable

Nothing is part of the fabric of the United States more than a frivolous lawsuit, and a Colorado fan is putting that to the test. Named in court documents as “John Doe,” the man is seeking $100M in damages from the NFL for Shedeur Sanders falling to the 5th round of the NFL Draft.

Doe, who is listed to be a resident of Georgia, is a self-professed die-hard fan of Colorado football, detailing that he had spent extensive time watching Shedeur Sanders on TV and in person, as well as consuming massive amounts of media content related to Sanders’ transition to the NFL. The lawsuit alleges that the league engaged in violations of the Sherman Anti-Trust act by colluding to tank Sanders’ draft stock, as well as violating the Civil Rights Act due to Sanders being discriminated against as a black quarterback, and finally violating consumer protections laws by misrepresenting the selection process of the draft itself.

But not as dumb as suing the NFL for "Punitive damages in the amount of $100,000, 000.00 for the harm caused to the Plaintiff and the impact of the NFL's actions on his emotional well-being."

@MDC : I think this convo between Cowherd and Wright explains the Sanders situation that he wasn't really ranked that high by A LOT of teams and it was mostly hype by the pundits.  I got the video queued at the relevant position:

Obviously Sanders wasn’t ranked that high because he went in Round 5. My point is that every pundit I saw had him as a 1-2 round talent. Nick Wright says the same thing in this video.

Yeah, but he said they were all wrong as the result of the hype journalism.  He says most teams didn't have him ranked in the top 50.  Pundits just bought into the hype - which is what I was saying, but I did hear pundits say the same thing as the teams.

Mockers and the fraud media had Sanders as a 1st round talent. Dynasty Podcasters and others that I follow said that he was a 4th round pick in almost any other draft. So I'm not shocked, he's a projected backup at best.

Anybody actually pick him to go on Day 3 and put it in writing before the draft?

Not at all. I figured 2nd round. He obviously has issues, teams don't pass on good QBs.

Well, that was my point. Obviously NFL teams had him rated way behind the pundits. I think he was probably a Day 2 talent who’d have gone Day 1 in a weak QB class, but went Day 3 cause he’s an ass hole.

We agree. My point is that nobody should be shocked. He's a backup talent with character issues. He's far more talented than Gabriel who went 3rd round to the Browns. Gabriel is a hack.

So essentially page 6 of this thread.  Cowherd got 1 thing wrong though.  Deion absolutely is a bully.  Just see how he treats people that criticized his program.

Actually, I don't think he's wrong.  I think he's lying.  He knows he's a bully.  That's why he spent 2 minutes explaining how bullies get lied to when he could have skipped that and jumped straight to superstars get lied to, but I get it.  I wouldn't want to criticize deion and bring on his wrath if I were in cowherd's shoes either.

But it's another good example of the Deion effect and how it led to the perception that shedeur was more highly rated than he was.  Even cowherd is appeasing Deion and the dude has as much clout as anyone in the media.

He was in a weak class.

He just isn't that good. No big deal, it happens.

Oh my. NFL teams see that a player mostly sucks and they don't draft him.

This never happens!! :shocking:

The Cleveland Browns announced on Monday that they have signed Sanders to his rookie deal. The contract is a four-year deal worth $4.6 million.

The quarterback will carry an average annual value (AAV) of about $1.16 million and received a signing bonus of $446,553, according to Spotrac.

It represents a steep drop from the contract that is slotted in the first round, which would've been a four-year deal worth over $40 million in total value if drafted inside the top five.

WTF is Cleveland going to do at QB? They have Watson, Pickett, Flacco, Gabriel, and Sanders now.

I guess Pickett would be odd man out but they just traded for him. Trade him again?

Likely less than he was making at Colorado.

Sanders has as good of a shot to play as any of the others.  I like how he is signed and seems ready to get to work.  Maybe the fall from the top rounds did some good for his over inflated ego.  I, at this point, am rooting for the kid.

I’m rooting for the Browns too. They may have gotten a first round talent for Pennie’s on the dollar. CLE deserved some good luck.
