If having cancer doesn't affect his ability to function why lie to us about it?

I agree, if they knew sooner they should have told the public.

I am going to wager that they've known about this from AT LEAST his withdrawal from the 2024 ticket. AT LEAST.

It can take up to 8 years (obviously sometimes much shorter) for prostate cancer to get to the bones. So, let's say....four in his case to be conservative.

It's possible he was diagnosed right after election and they chosen to keep it on the DL, in the event he was fine. And perhaps they've opted for treatments that were less invasive to see how they worked, which is why on some days he was loopier than others...or that he took more time off than usual.

At any rate, we've had presidents diagnosed with illnesses before that they've hidden from us, because of the implications it would've had on their political careers and re-election. Hiding his cancer from us, along with a dementia/Alzheimer's diagnosis is completely feasible: https://www.britannica.com/topic/list-of-US-presidents-who-experienced-chronic-helath-problems-while-in-office

Meh.  I care.   Like him or not politically, I hope he beats it.   Wouldn't wish this on him.   The bone cancer is concerning.

Same here….

I've been watching my mother slowly fade for the last 4 or 5 five years due to dementia, Parkinsons, and a few strokes.

I wish she'd been terminal and there was a better way to end it.

Watching her literally waste away is horrid and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Damn that really sucks….  I sometimes wished that America had assisted suicide to go peacefully….

We do in some states.  I think Scott Adams said he was going to go that way.

There’s no irony here. His goals were laudable and still are.

Quote while on the campaign trail was  "If I'm elected president, we are going to cure cancer"

Nice to know some states have it…

Oregon in particular has had it quite a while, with good safeguards to ensure it isn't abused

We do. However, the actual person needs to provide consent three times in 48 hours; two verbally and one written.

My mom has been non-verbal, can't read, write, speak, walk, etc. for over a year. But trust me, if it were an option, I am sure even she would be for it.

Those the rules in CA?  Different than Oregon from what I recall of their rules.  Up there, you have to get two doctors to agree to it and then your PCP gives you a prescription for something that will take you out peacefully.  Then, you get to do it to yourself if you choose to.  It puts you in control.

I was unaware that any states allowed this. Glad they do, but wonder if only OR residents "qualify?"

More states should embrace this, living wills should allow for those going through what @TheNewGir| described. Insurance companies should be on board too since paying out a life insurance policy is cheaper than years of medical care.

I dunno, I could argue the opposite.

People who aspire to be POTUS are wired differently. Joe spent his entire life in politics working towards it.  People like that care about their legacy. The MSDNC will gaslight folks about it and make sure he looks the hero.  Jill probably did a lot to make that happen.

:dunno:

Yup. You have to be terminal within 6 months and two different doctors have to confirm your diagnosis.

Two oral requests each within 48 hours of the other in front of witnesses, one written request in front of two witnesses that you make yourself without assistance, AND you have to be able to take the medication yourself without assistance.

Trump responds with the same conspiracy theory, saying Biden has stage 9 cancer and is in cognitive trouble, also the autopen.  He also says he aced his cognitive test and his doctor claims he's 6'3" 224.

Ok we'll let's just start with there is no stage 9 cancer.

And this is what a 6'3" 224 pound man looks like

Biden has a Gleason score of nine.

Also,  its absurd to compare an overweight guy to an elite athlete of the same height. I'll presume the height is similar but the body fat is 10x more.

Trump's BMI is 28.0

You just throw BMI out the window for elite athletes. Metcalf is chiseled muscle and he has to be because he's got to outcompete guys lining up against him that are also 6'3 224 lbs of chiseled muscle. Trump would be well advised to walk his 6'3 ass to the next hole rather than ride in a cart when chasing after golf balls.

Good riddance.

Obviously I’ve been out of it for a week. But as some who watched his dad’s prostate cancer metastasize over 4 years makes this seem strange. I don’t think you wake up with stage 4 prostate and bone especially when we know there were continual coverups to his health

just my thought for the hospital bed

Its unreal the level of ignorant ass stupid involved to post what he posted.

What kind of moron compares an elite athelete to an overweight old man? Trump LOOKS 6'3 and he LOOKS 225 pounds.  Most people would guess him to be within an inch and within five pounds of what he's being reported as.

I ran track in 1989. I was pretty good such that I (barely) made all-county but got blown out there. Like every halfway decent high school boy, my times were better than the girl who won the state of Michigan that year. Every single track athlete on the planet, male or female, knows that these male athletes who identify as trans are accomplishing jack sh*t nothing impressive and are being rewarded for it by retarded, ignorant-ass, pieces of  sh*t who never played the sport like gutterboy.

If he’s really 6’3, then he’s more like 250+.  If he’s really 225, then he’s more like 5’11

Of course, lying about not having cancer would be much worse than lying about your height and weight.

Point being, you have trump standing up there ranting about Biden lying about his medical report and having dementia while talking about stage 9 cancer and having clearly lied about his medical report.

And of course the magas here defend him and then go on a tranny rant

Tim's dates are too young to sign up for dating apps.

I heard that when he occasionally takes a break from showering with his daughter he fantasizes about grown men. It's an odd mix but is very liberal in practice.
