5.  Philadelphia will miss the playoffs and finish dead last in NFC East.    Saqaun will not play more than 5 games and Hurts will be a bust .  Filthy back to just being filthy.   

4. Return of the Mac .   CMC returns to form one last year and leads San Francisco to another Superbowl appearance having a MVP like year.   Other players like Aiyuk ,and Purdy finish way above projections and Kittles has. career year.   

3. Raiders make the playoffs.   Ashton Jeanty has a 2200 total yard 16 td rookie year and Brock Bowers finishes with top 10 wr numbers.  11 wins for Raiders .

2. Ravens decent into the abyss begins.   Henry's production falls off a cliff and Lamars wear an year finally catches up to him he doesn't play more than half the season.     Ravens finish with 7 wins or less.   Entire roster a fantasy black hole. 

1. New England returns to the playoffs and will be good years to come.   Drake Maye finishes as a top 5 QB  ,  Diggs has a top 10 season and becomes one of biggest draft steals bouncing back from injury.   Henderson has a great rookie year making  Stevenson an afterthought.   New England wins East  over Buffalo with 13 wins.

I got one:

Travis Swift starts identifying as they/them and the NFL bans her because they don’t allow women to play in the NFL.  Gronk comes out of retirement as the Chiefs new starting TE.  Mahomes is so upset he quits.  Aaron Rodgers then cries his way off the Steelers, signs as the Chiefs new QB, and KC wins the #1 pick in the 2026 NFL draft.  Andy Reid is arrested at a downtown Wendy’s for stealing nuggies off other people’s trays.

No Qb, or Te should be drafted before double digit rounds.

I've found that the majority of times that people make "Bold" predictions, it's to have absurd takes and not be held accountable for ones they get wrong, but boast for the one or two they get right.

more often than not I've found this to be more of a joke thread myself.   occasionally you will see some serous predictions but there is a lot of nonsense here too.

My recommendation is not to take this thread TOO seriously.

When you posted this, I had to look to see where Nix was bring projected and thinking 'he's being over drafted?'.  I was surprised to see is ADP in the top 10 (8, I think?).  I can see Nix finishing between 10 and 15, but I'd probably draft him around 12 or 13.  Did they really do anything offseason to improve their offense other than a 2nd RB?  I think Daniels pays off unless he gets hurt.

@JagFan I’m curious your thoughts on Etienne.

I’m seeing him go in the 8th round or later in 12 team PPR leagues, and I’m thinking he’s worth a 8th rounder if I’ve already taken a couple of RB’s and 2-3 good WR’s.  Still relatively young, contract year, no major injury concern.

For fantasy, I’m staying away from this situation.  The Jags drafted two good RBs in the draft, and Tank has earned his share of the touches, if not more.  I feel like this will be ugly and you’ll have to guess correctly on who’s the one to have that week.  I could be totally wrong.  But he’s certainly worth taking a gamble on if you get him late enough.

Kind of how I feel about the Green Bay WR’s.  There are guys I like individually but too much of a crap shoot on who will be the go to guy week-to-week.

Two?  They only drafted two.  Are you saying that Allen is "good"?  Is he even going to make the team?  If he does, I don't think you'll have to worry about Etienne, because I don't think all 4 of those guys are going to be on the team.

Take a gander at Etienne's metrics... ypc, yac, broken tackle rate, yd-over-expectation, etc...  

I'll be drafting the Tank.

You’re going to actually draft Tank? You might want to attack Rbs earlier in the draft.

I foresee Tank as my 4th Rb around the 10th rd. Etienne was former coach Peterson's first draft pick with the Jags and they picked up his 5th year option before last season. Bigsby was vastly outplaying him, yet they kept feeding Etienne touches despite inefficiency - probably because they were so invested. Both the coach and GM were of course fired. The new coach won't have such loyalty. He'll give carries to whoever performs best. At this point, I believe that'll be Bigsby based on his vastly superior metrics to Etienne and likelihood he's better prepared to handle the job over a 4th rd speed rookie. Some Tank metrics:

Tied Derrick Henry for #1 in yds-after-contact / att at 2.8. Playerprofiler ranked his juke rate at #6 in the league. Broken tackle / att  #12. Next Gen Stats yds-over-expect /att #9.  Explosive rating #14.  Those aren't based on a handful of rushes, rather 168 attempts - reliable sample size.  Solid runner.

Youtube Tank 2024 and pick a few random weeks...  see if he passes the eye-test.  Gritty runner gaining tough yards. Also apparent how bad the Jags run-block was, rarely creating holes - Tank's horrible 1.8 yds-before-contact / attempt is a testament. Had to make the most of what was given - impressive he finished with 4.6 ypc. When he does get a hole, he pops through and shakes tackles. 

The knock is few receptions, but I'm expecting 1,000+ yds and most goal line. Not bad for a 10th round pick. The former Auburn player (good stock) is now entering his third year. It's Tank time baby!

Good luck, I’ll keep an eye on that situation and give you credit for the move.  I’m not sold, I think they drafted Rbs for the reason that they are not entirely sold on any of their Rbs.

Jags 7th rd pick Lequint Allen was a stud receiving back out of Syracuse logging 64 rec last year, so seems logical the plan is to eventually take over Etienne's receiving role.

Jags 4th rd pick Bhayshul Tuten is a former track star and big dude, but not known as a great receiver, so it remains to be seen how he fits in - could be just depth or possibly challenge Tank for the starting spot. Though, I'm giving the nod to Tank based on what he did last year. 

All those metrics I talked about with Tank.... let's see how Etienne fared:  Yds-after-contact / att (1.8)  #33. Juke rate #38. Broken tackle / att  #44 (dead last among qualifiers). Next Gen Stats yds-over-expect /att #34.  Explosive rating #33.  Ypc (3.7)  #42 Rbs 100+ att.  That's tremendously awful for an NFL Rb.

Looks good, I hope it works out for you, I’m not in, I’m going to let that issue be another problem. What you just said about the two rookies makes it even easier to pass on the Jags backfield issue.   Thanks.
