IMO he withdrew because we’re basically a post-truth society. Look at people dissing mainstream media with reporters, named sources, follow-up questions, and video from inside the daycares. But then they believe a video that we know for a fact was made up by a guy (David Hoch) who openly hates Muslims and worked with the Minnesota GOP to make this video… specifically to attack Walz! An actual hit piece, and it worked. Why? Because almost nobody actually cares about the truth.

These daycares were picked for no reason other than the ethnicity of their owners. We know that for a fact now that David Hoch was exposed. And yet now they need to all be investigated?

An outrage video as a pretext to attack an ethnic group that had just been labeled “garbage” by the president. It’s as plain as the nose on your face. They didn’t even bother hiding it well because they know how gullible MAGA is. How they only trust “right-wing” sources instead of their own eyes.

I wouldn't say I overly care; I just heard about it yesterday.  I just think it's funny that Moderate Tim thinks it's unhealthy to be upset about the flag, if you oppose the new Somali-looking one, but not unhealthy if you were upset about the original one that you spend millions of dollars, thousands of hours, form minority-filled committees, and ultimately change the flag to look a lot like a Somali flag.

I don't have the first inkling of what the Somali flag looks like and honestly don't even remember what our new MN flag looks like. I think there's a star? So I won't be saying that. 

I'm glad the fraud is being identified and rooted out. If it costs Dems seats at the table over the next couple of election cycles, oh well. I think what we're going to find is that what is going on in MN is going on many other places as well. It's just politically expedient for MAGA to be harping on MN at the moment. The Texas flag is FAR closer to the Chilean flag than this is to the Somali flag. I bet 90% of people couldn’t tell those two apart. 

The design of the Minnesota and Somalia flags are different, the star is different, the shape is different. Only “same” thing is the field color and that they both have a star, but the stars are different shapes and placements. There are lots of light blue flags with stars on them. Only somebody with a hate-boner for Somalians would make this connection.

Oh, and the budget for the commission was $35,000, not “millions” math genius.
