His life was never in danger.  He's still alive, and the fact that he's alive has nothing to do with him putting 3 bullets in her head.  If his gun jammed, he would still be alive, and so would Renee.

The only thing we can possibly agree on is if he thought his life was in danger, which I'm willing to accept he thought it.  I do think it's more likely he was just pissed off and took out his anger on Renee.

Every trustworthy police officer I have heard break this down admits the ICE agents focked up.  Don't stand in front of a vehicle, give clear instructions to driver, don't try and open drivers door, etc.  ICE agents are not trained for policing of vehicle stops.  They beat up brown people, that's what they are good at.

One difference between the cop who shot Babbitt and this ICE agent is that Michael Byrd’s actions were investigated / reviewed by DOJ, USCP, DC police and none of them found any cause for charges.

Another is that the POTUS let the investigation play out vs. running to Twitter to make shiit up and immediately say Byrd has “blanket immunity.”

If he did fear for his life, it was due to his and his fellow agents’ bad choices.

A decent administration would have immediately started an investigation. Instead they literally labeled the victim a terrorist.

I wonder if going in front of a running vehicle with your gun drawn then “fearing for your life” might qualify. This is such a blatant lie. ICE has been bringing camera crews with them on raids and creating flashy videos, even adding music to them.
