I live in Traverse City. The city has allowed homelessness to run rampant. They’ve allowed homeless encampments to stay up for years only a few blocks from this Walmart. We call it tent city. This sort of thing was a problem waiting to happen.

And this is the counter argument to the people who keep bringing up guns: you can only do so much damage with a knife. If this dude had an AR-15, there’d be scores of folks dead. 

That is not an argument for more gun control or banning AR-15s, etc. But it also seems silly to me to try to use this incident as an argument for LESS gun control as so many of you here have done.
