Yeah, I don’t really like that.

I got Achane at 19 overall in my draft, so I like the player but not as my RB1 given the risk of injury to him or Tua. Assuming Henry was off the board I’d have doubled up on WR in that spot.

I don’t love Puka this year because of Stafford’s health and target competition from Davonte.

I don’t love LaPorta at cost due to all the mouths that need to be fed in Detroit.

Goff is a value pick IMO but the rest of your team is a lot of meh.

I think it's a good team. 

In a QB favored league I would franchise Joe Burrow. He's elite, every year. Chase Brown is unproven and could fall off completely in a year or two.

With limited rosters, as you say, no need to feel weak at QB or even roster 2 until week 8 for you.... Goff as a QB1 is questionable just in terms of ADP but hes been top 10 two years in a row.  Penix offers some upside and if you feel you need to roster another, that is who I would add.

I can't imagine there is not a better DST out there, especially with the matchup week 1 for Cleveland. 

WR are weak as I am down on Puka with Stafford back and Adams arrival, and down on Wilson because of Fields/run heavy offense. Meyers asked for a trade and Vegas signed Cooper... Kupp could be a nice surprise while healthy.

I like the top 3 RBs. 

I assume you went Achane/Puka... Wilson/? LaPorta? Swift? ...  just focusing on the first 4 rounds, i'd be curious what else was available when you picked at 12/13... but more so when you picked in rounds 3/4... both Swift and LaPorta feel like 5th rounders and while both might go earlier in the 5th and you'd miss them, I might argue there are just as good options at the end of 5.   

So yeah, I don't love it. If there is a team weak at RB and strong at WR I might try to flip Aaron Jones for some WR help.

Wilson ahead of Swift.   Tyreek, mclaurin, waddle, adams, devonta went after him.   But it is that they're all gone next round so which do you want mentality.   I feel like Fields has something to prove and it's the lone guy who could be the focal point of the passing game for his team.

Your lack of depth is going to catch up to you and you still need a TE2 which are hard to come by in a 12 team league. 

I'd probably pick up Geno. He has the safest floor of any of those. Just don't expect boom weeks.

Last draft of the year, 18 roster spots so deep rosters, 10-team non ppr which awards extra points for long TDs.  This is the longest league I've been in (27 years?) and I definitely mixed it up with this lineup compared to my first two.  Everyone had been clamoring about how great of a year Dak will have, which I ain't buying but I went ahead and took a chance on him.  10th pick in the draft.  QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, FLEX, K, D

Goff is a perfectly find QB, though he's going to have some duds because the run game may dominate and he gets like 10 points or less.  Just hope those games happen when you don't need him.

This isn't bad, but I personally wouldn't be happy with it.  From a talent perspective, you have good RB's and this very well could work out great for you.  Personally, Achane is an injury waiting to happen.  Swift is very inconsistent.  Jones is old.  Williams has never been the same since the ACL.  Judkins is a complete unknown.  All that said, as noted, they are talented and you could have 2 legit RB1's and 2 solid RB's.

I like the WR's.  They're a quality group.  LaPorta should be a respectable TE.  On a different team without 95 other guys to throw too, he'd probably be in the top 3 discussion.

Kickers, defenses... meh.

 

If this is your complete roster, then that's fine, I wouldn't cut any of them for another QB.  If you have a player you can dump, then I'd wait to see what happens in LV, ATL, or SEA to see what's going on with Geno, Penix, or Darnold.  Maybe grab one in a few weeks for possible upside/bye week start.

I was pretty disappointed in my main draft this year.  When I finished I realized I had drafted 3 QBs.  It was an auction draft and I threw Fields out there for $1 and ended up getting him.  Ugh...
