I just hope they don't inject Charlie Kirk into the ceremonies today.  Keep it real.

And that's the first thing Trump does.  Yuck.

RIP to all of those that lost their lives 24 years ago...

Except for the a--holes that did this...

Just rode the LIRR with a group of Firefighters in their dress blues. At least of 1/4 of them weren’t even alive or old enough to remember. It was a solemn ride. Everyone that walked past them gave respect - good to see respect still wins.

That's cool.

I was in NYC for a week in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 working for a news org. Easily the most intense week of work I'll ever be part of. Lots of things stick out to me thinking about it, but one of them will always stay close to my heart:

I think it was Saturday 9/15 and the weather was beautiful so a lot of people came to lower Manhattan to observe the scene. Throngs of people in the streets, respectfully staying behind barricades, many there hoping for news about a loved one that was missing. At some point, a few dozen firefighters came walking down the street from ground zero; these were the guys that had likely just spent 12+ hours trying to dig for survivors. They looked like hell; filthy, exhausted, shoulders hunched.

The crowd went absolutely nuts. Cheers, whistles, tears, chants, well wishes. Every one of those guys had lost friends and brothers in the attack. And there we were, showing them how much their continued efforts meant to us. It was a great, all-too-brief period of American unity. I miss that feeling.

One of my fathers best friends died that day. He helped 2 women out of an elevator/elevator shaft but was not able to get out himself. Those two women survived, that's how his wife knew the story.  Crazy day. I was young but I remember being in gym class having kids called to the office whose parents worked in the city.

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but I have to admit, that one is a little perplexing. A professional demolition crew could've spent months setting it up, & not brought it down any smoother.

"European airlines have been locking c*ckpit doors for nearly a decade... perhaps we should do that too.?."

FAA - nah, screw that.

I had an appointment in the Century 21  building at 9 am on the 11th. It’s right next to the WTC. I canceled it because the Giants were playing the night before.

Ed McCaffrey game :(

I was in Windows of the World 30 hours prior. No one made it out of there that Tuesday morning. Knew several staff there.

I found a bunch of bones out at the landfill. I brought them to the FBI forensics trailer. They told me they were bones from the restaurant. I felt the appropriate stupidity.

Kudos to you for being intellectually honest.    I've rarely, if ever, heard someone who believes the official story admit that Building 7 looks like every controlled demolition they've ever seen.

Next question: if you were told that a United Airlines Boeing 757 had just crashed into a field, would you expect it to look like this?

19 men, all Middle Eastern. We should have been profiling @ airports. Especially when you consider that before the 9/11 attacks, the U.S. received numerous intelligence warnings about potential terrorist attacks. Don't like profiling... as they say in Germany, tough shitski. The other weird thing is to think that none of the terrorists had biological weapons, guns, etc

They had friggin utility knives.

No one should have any expectations for what a Boeing 757 that crashed in a field “should” look like.

Give me a tail section, something.

At the twin towers, there was enough jet fuel even after the giant fireballs to explain any anomalies you can think of, but in Shanksville all we get is a puff of smoke that lingers in the air for a bit.
