Notice the people he's targeting are those that he's had beef with for a long time. Notice also that they are practicing the exact opposite of what Charlie Kirk stood for and lost his life while exemplifying: freedom of speech for all.

So again, let's hold EVERYONE doing this responsible, mmkay? Not just pick and choose the folks that Trump already doesn't like. What they're pinning on Kimmel right now, every single Fox News host is guilty of, to a faaaar greater extent. I expect to see their entire primetime block suspended. We agree.   I don't like it on both sides.  I would have rather the FCC stayed out of the Kimmel thing because he was going to get cancelled by what he said anyway.   However they blew that play, ABC/Disney seized on it, got a great chance to part ways with a losing enterprise, and everyone is blaming the gubbermint.

Or, since Ellison is a huge donor and looking for more media mergers, Disney and Comcast read the writing on the wall and decided Kimmel needed to go in order to preserve those precious consolidations of power (*ahem* MONOPOLIES). Same thing that Trump pulled with ABC and CBS. In any other admin, those companies would still be in court fighting over how absurd those fines were. But since they're all working at mergers in the near future, they've decided that the bottom line is more important than their principles or civic responsibility, so they caved and paid fines that were undeserved.
