WEEK 5 Observations

Recommended Posts

It’s early, but…

- Nice opening drive for Raiders & Jeanty getting fed

- Waller is officially back! He looks REALLY good with 3 catches in 1st quarter

The Ravens are who we thought they were.

Woody Marks might not be ready for prime time.......

Rashid Shaheed (assuming he's healthy) is the ultimate bye week high risk/high reward fill in

The New York Jets, are the New York Jets

Justin Fields, WTF??

I’ll give Nix a pass this week after playing on MNF. The Eagles defense is pretty good. Western teams playing the early game in the east always struggle unless they’re just so good it doesn’t matter.
Fields just isn’t a good QB. Great athlete, especially as a runner. Eventually he’s gonna be worthless more & more often when the legs start to go because he simply can’t read a defense

Aaron Glen is learning what many before him have learned..the Curse of Joe Willie is very real.

Is Stroud starting to come around? Or is the bal defense just that trash? I don't have access to that game to see for myself.

Might be both, but Ravens D is awful

5-78-1 in first half, ZERO catches in 2nd half. Dolphins went away from what was working & allowed Panthers to make this game a nail-biter

I was just going to post something similar. Dolphins had the game in hand early, then went into trying to give it away mode & the Panthers finally decided to take it.

Benched Dowdle and Shaeed in favor of Chase Brown and Jeudy.

When do pitchers and catchers report?

Didn’t think Diggs could have back to back very good games.

Barkley is on vacation

Henry should be

who has J Taylor on their ff team, congrats

Hubbard who?

Shaheed in for the injured M Evans.

Egbuka has been a fantastic ff buy.

St Brown, is still the safest start in ff.

McConkey fans can now rejoice

Nacua is another very safe start in ff.

Everyone who celebrated the Chiefs "downfall" is about to get a rude awakening after tonight when they're tied for 1st in the West.

I think the Broncos are for real. Only 2 losses were walkoff field goals.

Eagles are in trouble. Siriani is losing his team. Up 17 and you're not running Barkley over and over? And AJ Brown looks like he's checked out. 2 catches on 9 targets and one should have been a long TD but he gave up on the route. He doesn't care.

Colts are 4-1 and Ravens 1-4. WOW.

Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter can be safely dropped in all leagues.  Lawrence is not only putrid, but the coaches seem hellbent on getting the ball to everyone except their playmakers.

All leagues? Sure about that? Unless you play in 8 team leagues

He was 4 for 80.

12 points is pretty damn good in any 12 team team league

Lawrence was QB5 in fantasy this past week, and the Jaguars are 4-1 after upsetting the Chiefs.  If you want to drop the DB that should’ve never been drafted as a WR, I can’t argue with that.  How dare those coaches be hellbent on winning games! 😂😂😂

Lawrence's QBR is currently 49.7 good for 21st in the league, behind luminaries like Spencer Rattler, Tua, and Penix. The Jags are winning despite him...

True, but neither Lawrence or The Jaguars pass the eyeball test. They're a flimsy 4-1 at best.

And I'm actually a Lawrence fan but he's an average QB if you're being honest with yourself

Totally agree.  He’s not putting that team on his back every game.  He flashes the skills, and then he makes a bonehead mistake.  The team as a whole is getting better every week, and they’re not throwing in the towel at adversity.  The defense is solid.  Wins are wins right now, and we’ll see if they continue to get confidence.

You think the Jags are good now, wait until they get Tuten going.

Rooten for Tuten

Are we sure that Justin Herbert is any good? I honestly think he blows. He's done nothing

This will be the week to determine that. I did hear that 2? 3? of his starting lineman are injured so there's that, but I said at the start of the year I'm done with the Herbert experience and avoided him in all drafts.
