I was asking you what that agent’s mission was & how that related to the jurisdiction of Immigration or Customs Enforcement. That’s it. I told you, I’m not pointing my finger at you. I’m not blaming you. But yes if the woman was “obstructing” & that was the “crime” she was being stopped for then what mission was she obstructing? No legally authorized mission, no legal stop, & the rest doesn’t matter.

It’s insane that they look at that video and don’t see the car lurching towards the officer. The only thing more bizarre is they somehow can’t see that first shot go right through the front windshield which would only occur if the officer was right in front of the car coming at him. I mean, even the shattered glass fragments you can see it wasn’t from the side.

It’s pretty obvious from the video the woman was trying to evade ICE not run anyone down. In the clip @twcsux posted the agent starts drawing his gun just as the car shifts into drive at 6 seconds.

Kind of hard to argue he shot in self defense when 1) she’s turning to the right away from the officer and 2) he draws his gun before making any attempt to get out of the truck’s way.

You are expecting the officer to know her intention when a vehicle is taking off inches in front of him. That is not reasonable.

If she didn't block Ice agents, this wouldn't have happened. If she didn't floor it in the direction of an officer, this wouldn't have happened.
