ICE stepping in front of cars

Recommended Posts

WSJ investigation: In the past 6 months ICE agents have fired at vehicles 13 times, leading to:

* 8 people shot

* 5 of which were U.S. citizens

* 2 died

* no victims drew a weapon

The playbook: Agents box in a vehicle, block attempts to flee, then fire

https://www.wsj.com/us-news/videos-show-how-ice-vehicle-stops-can-escalate-to-shootings-caf17601

Same practice at border patrol

US Border Agents Intentionally Stepped in Front of Moving Vehicles to Justify Shooting at Them https://share.google/zB7fbToAqvk3BqpY1

Border Patrol agents have intentionally and unnecessarily stepped in front of moving cars to justify using deadly force against vehicle occupants.

The question is, "What weapon is used in vehicular homicide, Alex?"

gutterboy's inability to grasp reality shines through again.

He;s too retarded to discuss things with and his constant venom is tedious, but it's hilarious self-own gems like this that prevent me from blocking him.

And yes, you have the facts right. No 'victim' drew a weapon. So you may struggle to figure out what the rest of us find so entertaining about this post.

You're saying a victim drew a weapon?  Or is this just you trolling again?

Who?  You going to ask them to join the Gutter-Rusty dozen times banned Life Loser club?

A group for people who hang out where they're hated and have been asked to leave and never come back repeatedly.

She’s not a chief. She’s the sheriff, an elected position. And a disgusting, illiterate disgrace. I wonder how many arrests she’s made?

You mean the one that made the real head of law enforcement in Philly distance himself from her?  I’m sure literally no one gives a fuk what this ignorant boss b!tch has to say. They’re a dime a dozen in big city public safety.

You're not gonna get any reply to that one. It destroys his whole argument.

More than half of all ICE agents out there have <1 year of experience. It’s a largely inexperienced force on a new and dangerous mission led by unqualified goons like Noem.

Not surprised this is the result.

The guy lost his temper and shot the unarmed woman 3 times.

MAGA can spin it however they want. He shot and killed the lady for no reason other than he was mad at her.

Can you please clarify, do you mean half have less than 1 year employed by ICE,  or they have less than 1 year experience as a LEO?  I’m sure you know there’s a huge difference.

In some retard universe, the dumbest people on the planet think you can ignore law enforcement orders and even drive over them when you've decided you're done harassing them from doing their jobs.

Real law enforcement understands the dangers these agents face. Protest all you want but, if you actually harass and stop them from doing their job, you are putting yourself in danger. Only the most brainwashed people wouldn't have the capacity to understand that.

Take a look at the people posting who don't understand that, it makes all the sense in the world. They aren't rational people.

Also -

We always knew liberals hated law enforcement, that's not breaking news but, this latest incident really shines a light on that. These agents do a dangerous job, liberal rhetoric is making it more dangerous.

More confirmation that ICE is going after political opponents, not just immigrants.

Quote

It’s nothing new for ICE to use these to find people to deport, a practice that raises a host of concerns, including heightened surveillance of immigrant communities and the wide-ranging capture of Americans’ personal data.

What’s new is that the federal government now openly says it will use its supercharged spy capabilities to target people who oppose ICE’s actions. Labeled as “domestic terrorists” by the administration, these targets include anti-ICE protesters and anyone who allegedly funds them — all of them part of a supposed left-wing conspiracy to violently oppose the president’s agenda.

This serious threat to free speech and privacy rights protected by the First and Fourth Amendments is not hypothetical, as administration officials are making no secret of their intentions.

Half have less than a year of experience with ICE. Law enforcement experience isn’t a requirement to work for ICE. I don’t think anyone knows what % of new hires have experience as a LEO.

Adding to this, I'd like to also know the percentage who are former military.

Yes, I think the phrase “largely inexperienced force” is misleading.

Of course it is but, when you've got a narrative, nothing else matters.

I seem to remember last year ICE removing age restrictions for members so that they could recruit folks down to 18 years of age and over 37 and 40 for some positions.  I wonder would they take decrepit old men like me.  My wife could find a use for the $50,000 hiring bonus and really, who would care if someone like me, with one foot already in the grave, had the other foot put there by my inability due to age to dodge a Karen in a Honda Pilot, the second favorite vehicle of lesbians and the first favorite of the unattractive ones?

The road is not blocked.

If it is time to arrest a person doing this shet in this scenario - a parked car in the road - Wouldn’t it be better to put a car in front and in back of the car and then pull her out of car?

Maybe, under normal circumstances.  It’s not unreasonable.   But the problem is these guys want to get away the hell out of there when these agitators show up. They don’t want to be sitting ducks. They have been attacked in many ways this past year.

Blocking the protestors car with a couple ICE vehicles wouldn’t be a safer and quicker way to arrest and get out of there?

If worried about an attack then I would shift to getting the car info, pics of the driver getting them later. Drive around the car like everyone else was.

Things don’t always play out like you think they will. Bottom line, they feel under siege. And with good reason.

I mean that is what policy is for. Walking in front of a running car while another person runs to the drivers door to open is a bad idea from a self preservation alone stand point.

In this incident the lady wasn’t a threat, she was being a twat, but not a threat. This did not need to end in a shooting.

Maybe. But legally he’s going to be ok. Bottom line is don’t play games with armed people. Something could go horribly wrong. And while gargoyles like Gutterboy and other liberals will be happy this happened and fake concern for the departed , you’ll be dead.

Yeah likely not going to go to jail.

The problem is we can all see that this didn’t need to end like this and should hold cops to a standard way above this.
