Cheap Beer

Recommended Posts

There is no such thing as "good" cheap beer. It's like voting for POTUS, the entire field always sucks, you just go with the less crappy ones.

Didn't watch the video, but Coors Light is about the only one that doesn't make me immediately with I was drinking whiskey or Twisted Tea instead.

Miller High Life used to be a premium product.  I was at a party that had Miller long necks, it tasted really good. I was suprised.

Never tried many of the first few but Hamms is the worst beer I ever tasted. In college we could get 6 Hamms 16oz for 4 bucks.   A couple years ago I bought a 6 to bring bank bad memories..drank 2 and tossed the rest.

Hamms is not good. But it's better than Bud Light. That stuff is swill; and I know swill. You bought cheap Hamms in college, I went for the Mickey's malt liquor in 64 oz bottles. Cheap and higher alcohol content. You don't want to be in the same room the morning after a guy drinks 2-3 of those in a night. It was like chemical warfare via the sphincter.

Paying up for beer after the first 2’or 3 is stupid. Complete waste.

Oh, I have had Mickeys too.  Made some bad decisions after drinking Mickeys.

Growing up Narragansett aka nastygansett and Hefenrefer were the 2 cheapest beers in my area. Narragansett came in milk crates

I was at a doctors office in my mid twenties for a a hemorrhoid problem I was working, in a kitchen in extreme heat when all the fryers, grill, oven, and the pots I boiled crawfish, shrimp, and crabs. It was fawking hot. Anyway, there was a Consumer Reports I started reading. One of the test was domestic beer. Pretty informative. They said that Milwaukees Besy and Miller were the almost exact recipe. It’s true.

Budweiser tastes like crap. Not because they are woke.

I like Labatt's Blue a lot. And Moosehead. But Moosehead gets skunky quicker than most beers.

I've had most of the beers on the list.  I would put Busch Light and Tecate at the top of my list.

Bud Light is the best light beer ever.

As for "cheap beer," Busch Light is one of the fastest growing brands in the country.

Black Label.

It was like $1 a six pack.

We called it Black Flag.

Awful stuff.

Schlitz Malt Liquor was pretty bad.

Pabst Blue Ribbon is a not-bad lager.

Schaefer, Olympia, Natural Light, Burgie...

Were all go to's in the high-school days between paydays.
