Interference with or Obstructing Law Enforcement

Recommended Posts

So a masked LEO demands your papers and detains you without cause if you refuse. If you struggle or otherwise refuse to comply with this illegal and unconstitutional demand, that’s “battering” an officer.

May as well cooperate and enjoy it! 🤡

No, that could be resisting arrest.  Resisting arrest can lead to battering if you end up striking an officer, even if accidental.

You may want to read up on how this all works or at least watch some body cam videos.  You could learn a lot on how to act with law enforcement.  It could save your life.

No, this is pure deflection.  People impersonating ICE has NOTHING to do with anything being discussed.

Someone made a point of "Well don't they wear something that says ICE", to which my reply was the impersonators.  Read the thread dummy.

A trained police officer is different than a goon ICE agent.

It shouldn't matter who it is, cooperation keeps everyone at ease and lowers the odds of something bad happening.  This goes towards many things in life.  Keep things as calm as you can.

It’s resisting arrest to not willingly allow a LEO to detain you without cause or slap the phone out of your hands, and if you resist that’s battery.

Do you lick the soles first or start with the top of the boot? 🐑 🤡

Seriously.  Just do some research.  Everyone should learn about their rights and how to handle law enforcement properly.

What factors are desirable to arrest dangerous or potentially dangerous felons?

1. Locate them

2. Secure a controlled perimeter around them so they may not escape or obtain aid against apprehension and to protect innocent bystanders.

3. Surprise so they can be taken into custody before they have time to arm themselves and resist.

4. Communication and coordination so that #3 can be achieved

What do ICE "Protestors" do?  They interfere with #'s 2, 3, and 4, above.  They put themselves in harms way expecting that those they oppose will divert energy, resources, and attention from the task at hand to protect them.  They alert the fugitive through their racket as surely and almost effectively as one of the fugitive's confederates acting as a lookout. They hamper communication and coordination by literally drowning out communication with their racket.  These acts are not protesting the actions of law enforcement, they are actively opposing them.  They are interfering, obstructing.  They are actually endangering law enforcement and their own communities as well if their actions allow a felon to pick up arms and flee into the very community maybe they have already victimized.

If you oppose government actions or policy please feel free to speak out publicly to try to get a discussion going on changing policy or law.  Petition your government peacefully for redress of grievances by writing or calling your elected representatives or filing suit in the courts.  Run for office.  Hold teach ins.  Even engage in civil disobedience and passive resistence, but do not interfere with ongoing arrest operations of you don't know who or how dangerous while those operations are ongoing.  After the fact feel free to share video you quietly took form a safe distance.  Make inquiries and observe what process is then given.  Trail the law enforcement to where they are detaining the fugitive.  Seek writs of habeas corpus to determine the fugitives fate and to secure their rights. But alerting dangerous men to an impending armed arrest, ungood and I would argue illegal.

See what you started rabblerouser and then you run off laughing

oh brother.

DHS lied about the "sex offenders" and the ID.  There are no sex offenders registered at that address.  DHS lies about EVERYTHING!  And you fall for it.  Useful Idiot.

Thao, who has been a US citizen for decades, said that as he was being detained he asked his daughter-in-law to find his identification but the agents told him they didn’t want to see it.

Thao told the AP that only he, his son and daughter-in-law and his grandson live at the rental home. Neither they nor the property’s owner are listed in the Minnesota sex offender registry. The nearest sex offender listed as living in the zip code is more than two blocks away.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jan/20/citizen-ice-minnesota-thao

Spoken like an ignoramus that doesn’t understand criminal investigation. Criminals hop from place to place, many times without changing official address. The sex offender did in fact live there at one point. He was an ex husband of a family member.

It’s literally illegal to resist an UNlawful detention. Just because you don’t agree or understand, doesn’t make it true.

So they are using data from many years back?  Awesome criminal investigation you got there.

Oh, and one of the guys they were looking for WAS ALREADY IN PRISON!

This is he clown show you are defending.  But yeah let them do whatever they want.  Useful Idiot.

You can do whatever you want but actions have consequences.  If my rights are being violated then I can take that to court.  The moment of the interaction is not the time to fight it.

Once again, for the love of God, educate yourself on this.  Please watch some videos of how people react to law enforcement.

I get it: You’re a sheep. If a law enforcement officer tried to detain you without cause or assaulted you, you’d lay down and lick his boots. Your safety is more important than your dignity.

We get it, bootlicker. 🐑

Why would they have an updated address? You obviously have no idea how life outside of your bubble works.  Some people literally live in places month to month.  If you pay attention, many people that have frequent encounters with police use the term “I stay” instead of “I live”, when referring to where they currently lay their head.  This dude may have “stayed” numerous other places without changing his address.  It’s literally how the world works in places you don’t care to know about.

I'll point out that you're subscribing to the old rules, the ones that have been in place for 249-ish years.

Those rules are gone. You say "take it to court" but this admin has already closed the investigation into Good's killing. We can wait to see what happens with Pretti's, but I'm not holding my breath that an investigation will occur. If they're not going to investigate an officer-involved shooting under highly questionable circumstances, do you think they'll investigate the "agitator" or "criminal" who was wrongfully arrested, beaten and pepper sprayed, driven around for a while, and dropped off 20 miles from his house without a coat in subzero temps?

The point is that right now, in the current climate under current leadership, your confidence that the wrongs will be addressed is no longer valid. They will not. We are being shown that in real time. I used instances of things that have actually occurred in the last few weeks. None of this is hypothetical anymore.

There's only one off ramp to this whole thing in my mind.  The Trump Administration and Walz/Minnesota are going to have to agree to MN handing over illegal immigrants who have violent offenses before they release them from their jails, in return ICE is withdrawn from the state other than targeted raids.  The vast majority of the American public wants that, even MN officials say they are for violent offenders being prosecuted, it's the only off ramp these sides have.

They’re literally blowing whistles to impart stress upon officers hoping to invoke a response inconsistent with their training, and catch it on film.

This is really the crux of most p!ssing matches in the GC.  Idiots like you have veered so far off the reservation that your real issue is that ICE is enforcing immigration law at all.  It’s just more proof that most rational people really haven’t moved towards the right on the political spectrum.  Leftists are racing left with no signs of slowing down.  Moderates are now MAGA.

It also disrupts communication between the officers.  Then they wonder why they get shot.

There were 2 wanted men. The one who had previously been married to a family member of the detained man, is not in jail.

If law enforcement wants to detain you, or someone else around you, you let them.   Just like a traffic stop.  That's not the time to contest it.  You contest it legally and, if it's unjust, you sue or do whatever you want to do in the appropriate, legal manner.  That's how you live in a civilized society.  Resisting law enforcement never ends well for you.  EVER.

Gutter's parents never gave him "the talk" I guess.

Thank you for giving it to him.

I just saw the Leavitt press conference. It looks like Noem and Bovino have been spanked and Homan is gonna go wrap this operation up ASAP.

Trump was even kissing Walz’s butt in a truth social post.

They f-ed up, everybody knows it, and now they are gonna leave MN in well-deserved shame.

Maga is now defending the murders of American citizens, saying that the 2A doesn't exist, cheering the government terrorizing its cities.

Real republicans are now liberals.  Magas are fascists.
