Hawkeye21 1,877 Posted January 12, 2018 I'm avoiding Watson for sure. The hype is too crazy right now. I'll probably avoid Amari Cooper and Jordy Nelson as well.

Matts Eagles 25 Posted January 12, 2018 why Golladay? I think he showed his potential at the end of the season I see his role growing.

Showboat 145 Posted January 19, 2018 No Moss Your TE list would then be Shaheen Butt Gathers No Moss Its gonna be a long off-season, gotta find the humor where we can Actually the way he has the list now it is: Shaheen Butt Gathers No Moss If had added Moss it would be: Shaheen Butt Gathers Moss The question is do you want shaheen butt to gather moss or not? A bit cheeky don't you think? Because you're really splitting hairs It does crack me up though Meh, looking for a community to contribute their own thoughts In all seriousness I didn't chime in regarding because I don't feel I have any edge to add on those prospects. All 3 are interesting young TEs who have potential. I do feel there is a literal plethora in the same category however, and the problem for me is that I have not seen any development of the potential inherent in each this season. That's not say its not happening, I just personally didn't get the opportunity to see it. I think it makes sense to throw one each of these guys, on different rosters and see what happens. I do have Gathers on an off-season roster and Butt on another because they were IR eligible, free, and weren't taking a regular roster slot. Shaheen was not on any of my dynasty WWs yet for free but I would have had a tough time rostering him in a regular slot on teams I was trying to win this year. I don't think he is any better FF prospect than the others (all 3 are different body types, different players, but equalish FF potential to me) but he may have the higher percentage chance to hit based on the NFL situation/draft capital invested in him. Matts Eagles 25 Posted January 29, 2018 Good points, anybody else have any Targets or people they are avoiding?
ralphster 274 Posted January 29, 2018 QBs: Brees, Carr, Stafford, maybe Alex Smith depending on where he lands. Avoid: Jimmy G/Watson are already way too expensive. R Wilson, Dak, Ben. RBs: Crow, Hyde, McKinnon are all dependent on landing spots. Avoiding OAK/MIA & SEA rbs.
TBayXXXVII 2,151 Posted January 29, 2018 I will have Saquon Barkley on one of my teams. Im hoping mainstream media doesnt gloat his potential too much. Without any hype right now, I'd take him in the top 5.
giraldi02 470 Posted January 30, 2018 Targeting: Cam Meredith, Jordan Matthews, Cam Newton, Matt Stafford, Marquise Goodwin, Sterling ShepardAvoiding: Jimmy G, Brandin Cooks, JuJu, Devin Funchess, DeVante Parker
AintNoStoppinMeNow 68 Posted January 30, 2018 Some under the radar guys I'll be targeting: Trey Burton (depending where he goes) Geronimo Allison Cameron Meredith Mike Williams Corey Davis (hopefully people soured on him cause he came on late) Patrick Mahomes (depending on Alex Smith's situation) Jamaal Williams/Aaron Jones Any rookie RB who lands in a nice spot (Barkley will get Zeke level hype unfortunately)
weepaws 2,489 Posted January 31, 2018 I'll never ever be able to draft Watson, his stock at QB will be way to high.
weepaws 2,489 Posted February 1, 2018 J jones I won't be draftin, his stock is just too high. D Forman is a Rb with the Texans I will be taking a good look at. But he needs to get his head on straight.
weepaws 2,489 Posted February 1, 2018 P Garcon is a good target. I think Goodwin stock will be too high for me. I think Garcon could be a late steal.
TBayXXXVII 2,151 Posted February 1, 2018 P Garcon is a good target. I think Goodwin stock will be too high for me. I think Garcon could be a late steal. At this point in time, I'm inclined to agree with you. Though, if the 49ers use an early round pick (1st or 2nd), in a WR, I may start to re-think that. weepaws 2,489 Posted February 1, 2018 Would agree, the offseason moves And drafts of course could change all off that. Thanks for the reply.
Kopy 493 Posted February 1, 2018 Targeting: Cam Meredith, Jordan Matthews, Cam Newton, Matt Stafford, Marquise Goodwin, Sterling Shepard Avoiding: Jimmy G, Brandin Cooks, JuJu, Devin Funchess, DeVante Parker Why Jordan Matthews? I ask because I thought I was the only guy left riding this train.
polecatt 404 Posted February 1, 2018 I will have Saquon Barkley on one of my teams. Im hoping mainstream media doesnt gloat his potential too much. Good one. Depending on what team lands him, I could see Ezekiel Elliott type hype.
weepaws 2,489 Posted February 1, 2018 Th Cowboys with that Oline was a perfect match for the Zeke. I don't see Barkley landing with a team that would rise his stock that high. I listed the Zeke number one on my Rb board after that draft. Don't see that being the case with Barkely.
TBayXXXVII 2,151 Posted February 1, 2018 My top 5 right now is... Johnson Elliott Gurley Bell Barkley I don't care where Barkley ends up, he's #5 on my list as of right now. Might go up if Bell doesn't re-sign with Pittsburgh and ends up somewhere less desirable.
weepaws 2,489 Posted February 2, 2018 Late QB too target will be A luck. If he does return he will be a very good value late QB draft pick. He has finshed in the top ten in avg points per game all five seasons before missing last season. Pass on Watson early and draft Luck late, good times
giraldi02 470 Posted February 2, 2018 Why Jordan Matthews? I ask because I thought I was the only guy left riding this train. Pending free agent. Cheap. Young. Has proven he can produce in the slot. Quite literally he could go almost anywhere other than Buffalo and his value should increase.
lesjroza 70 Posted February 2, 2018 Good one. Depending on what team lands him, I could see Ezekiel Elliott type hype. Is it still considered hype when it turns out to be correct, or even conservative? I suspect most everybody is un - prepared for the level of fever dynasty owners are going to feel if Barkley decides to compete at the combine. Given he is the consensus first RB to be taken and also shoe-in NFL high draft pick I fear he may not attend the combine on advice of agents who probably don't see much to gain. But, Oh if he does.............you ain't seen nothing yet. I stand by the earlier comment he is more than a dark horse to be going before DJ in dynasty startups by the time the NFL season rolls. Loaded Box 5 Posted February 2, 2018 Targeting: - Derrick Henry: more opportunity, low mileage - Mike Evans: take advantage of his down year, great candidate for double-digit TDs in 2018 Avoiding: - Mark Ingram: will be valued too high; won't finish top-5 in rush yards w/ double-digit TDs again in 2018 - T.Y. Hilton: this may change based on Luck's status, but not on my radar until completely comfortable with Luck's availability
thePRO 78 Posted February 2, 2018 Think Mike Evans will be available early 3rd? That'd be great. I'd be willing to probably take him late in the 2nd too.
giraldi02 470 Posted February 3, 2018 Think Mike Evans will be available early 3rd? That'd be great. I'd be willing to probably take him late in the 2nd too. I highly doubt he's there in the 3rd, but I guess anything is possible. He's probably gonna be on a few of my redraft teams next season regardless.
weepaws 2,489 Posted February 3, 2018 I would agree, I can see him middle second round, but not into the third round.
Mr Neil 63 Posted February 3, 2018 As long as Dirk Koetter is there I dont want anything to do with TB next year.
