Donte Moncrief

Recommended Posts

Worth the stash. Will be my home stretch hero.

I managed to get my hands on him. But I'm headed for 2-6 after Hopkins and Brock sh!t the bed on me this week, so I'm not terribly thrilled. I now have a nice bunch of guys who haven't done much the first half who will light it up the second half--on a team that's likely going to miss the playoffs.

It's a keeper league. Time to start fishing for draft pick trades, I think.

It's amazing how fast M Jones has fallen.

I haven't watched one Lion's game this year yet but the stats say enough to me, no idea if he's sucking or if Stafford stopped giving him Calvin like treatment etc...

Yeah Stafford is diffently spreading the ball around.

That's good for him and the Lions.

Moncrief doesn't get nearly the respect he deserves. In the FFtoday Rest of the Way Rankings they have him at #36 behind guys like Fuller, Merideth, DJax... Moncrief has an absolute Gronk like .9 TD ratio in the last 10 games were both him and Luck completed the entire game.

If Hilton wasn't always so fricken open all the time, maybe Moncrief could get some targets. But I think we'll see one huge game by Moncrief by season's end. I'm thinking week 16, because he's got some tough matchups these next few weeks.

TD's are hard to predict, I typically try to start guys who have targets, receptions and receiving yards because touchdowns likely follow those. That being said, some guys are just good at getting open in the redzone. If you watch his touchdowns, he just seems to know how to find space or use his body to essentially box out defenders. Could become similar to Eric Decker. 70-80 catches, 1,000 yards or so and double digit touchdowns.

It is hard to hit 1000 yards at under 50 yards per game.
