The muslim from KC Chiefs got flagged last night after praying to abdu gabi or something.

Some headlines I see are "You can make a cross sign (Tebow) or point to the sky (Marshall), but you can't do a muslim prayer?"

 

Well..so now there will be another debate in the NFL over this crap. What if your religious prayer of your obscure religion that the NFL hasn't heard of includes some crazy body movement or such? Will they flag you? Or what if Dez says that the "X" thing he does is just saying high to God, and a wish to "x-out" sin?

 

Oh...and I don't think you should be able to lay on the ground after a td. If you do, you should be whipped with a switch on your bare bottom at half time or end of game by opposing teams defensive coordinator on live tv.

There is no real debate...the NFL has already said that if you go to the ground as a form of religious "celebration" you shouldn't be flagged for it.

Used to be you couldn't go to the ground...then they made the apparent exception for religious displays.

It should be flagged as it is "a look at me" celebration... I wish this penalty was not a "dead-ball foul" and make it part of the play thus nullifying the touchdown...

I can MAYBE see celebrating after winning the title, or celebrating a 4th down goal-line stand as time runs out, but a defensive lineman doing the jive for sacking a QB in the 3rd quarter down 17 is a self serving act and should be more heavily penalized.
