ZeroTolerance 584 Posted June 28, 2008 http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/06/28/theme.par...lity/index.html ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- A teenager died Saturday when he was decapitated at the Six Flags Over Georgia theme park outside Atlanta, authorities said. The 17-year-old park visitor was killed after scaling two 6-foot fences around the Batman roller coaster, said a statement issued by park spokeswoman Hela Sheth. He was struck by the coaster and killed, she said. Nanananananananana BATMAN!

ZeroTolerance 584 Posted June 29, 2008 "Some witnesses have stated that the individual was trying to retrieve something he had lost," Sheth said. Instead he lost something else. I suppose it is fortunate that his companions were not as stupid, otherwise we may have had a chain of people running in front of the coaster in attempts to retrieve the previous person's lost head. LOD01 198 Posted June 29, 2008 How much do you want to bet there will be a huge ass lawsuit by the kid's family. No doubt. They will probably use some sort of defense like 'he was too dumb to read, thus there should have been security posted around the ride to stop him'. An idiot died. So what. Over at the gay footballguys, they are in mourning as one of their own bought the farm.

ZeroTolerance 584 Posted June 30, 2008 One of my mother's classmates died in a roller coaster incident (would be a good 35 years ago). As his hat flew off as his car came to a stop at the end of the ride. He reached back to try to catch it and his head became a roller coaster car bumper when the next car came along. Why not take the hat off before getting on the roller coaster? also, it seems like a few people die every summer at amusement parks. At what point do they stop being so damn amusing? peenie 1,944 Posted June 30, 2008 my daughter and her friend were preparing to go to six flags yesterday and i told her not to go because it was going to rain and it sucks to go to the amusement park when it rains because they end up shutting down rides. they decided not to go. not that it would've mattered, she is afraid of roller coasters but i think it would've been traumatic had she been there when that happened. so sad...it was a church bus trip. his friend survived. crazy. someone posted a youtube video of the incident; it was filmed with their cell phone. cbfalcon 827 Posted June 30, 2008 I actually heard they weren't releasing his name until after the autopsy. I don't want to lose my head over this, but I think it's pretty ridiculous that they are wasting taxpayer money on an autopsy.
