I haven't been in the GC nearly as long as some of you, but I've rarely seen a thread devolve as quickly and thoroughly as this one did. Multiple people dead as a result of politically-motivated murders, suspect at large for 24 hours or more. Was supposed to go to a graduation party on Saturday in the area, it was canceled due to the shelter in place orders. Grad and family were heartbroken. This shite actually affects people, lots of them, and most of you only GAF about scoring political points and blaming the "other side." Seems like we deserve what we're getting.

As long as we have a president that promotes violence and has made it abundantly clear that if you commit violence on his behalf, you will be pardoned, we will continue to devolve as a society. Trump continues to separate us while he steals from all of us.

I dunno. If I'm the CW, each trial makes it look more and more corrupt and like they are unwilling to investigate/prosecute the real killer because it's a cop, and I'm not sure they want to keep letting the defense make that case.

That's more indicative of the teams he was on than him. He's been a pretty solid QB on about 11 teams that weren't good. With the Raiders, 7 of the 9 seasons... the defense ranked in the bottom 10 in the league. Also, his best weapon was 1 year of Davante Adams. Amari Cooper, regardless of where he played, was either a stud or invisible on a weekly basis and you never knew which one you were going to get. He never had a good RB until his 6th year. That year, his best receiver was a TE. The following year (2020), they had a top 10 offense and their defense ranked 30th. No one ever said Carr was great, but he was a solid/competent QB... similar to about 80% of the QB's in his era. The only difference is that he never had a good coach, offense, or defense to help him.

depends on the year and the format. in my superflex league he was a sought after player. I had him as my second QB the year he threw for 4800 yards. I won the league that year. I get that hes not been a top 10 QB most years. but look at the crappy WR's he had to work with most of his career. there are a lot of QB that would have went completely in the toilet stats wise with that motley crew. I'm not saying hes an allstar or deserves to be in the HOF. I'm saying he was a good starter. and a better real life QB than fantasy QB. he was among the leaders among active players in one key stat. 4th quarter comebacks. Thats a stat most teams wish their QB could pull off. either way, Thats all I gotta say about that.

I get it. Thats called being a good professional and a good leader. He didnt quit and ask to be traded to a contender like some...... my point is.... if he had been with a different team his career might have been more impressive. I dont know how many years he put up decent stats without a true #1 WR. there was one year all he had was a #1 TE and 3 WR who might be #3 WR on other teams. if the guy had been in a decent organization i have no doubt that the stats you are looking at for him would be far more impressive.
