1 point5 targets... 2 catches 43 yards First catch was good. This was the 29 yarder. Nice throw by young. Tet was blanketed but used his body to shield the defender and young dropped it in a bucket. Second catch was just a standard in cut against the softest coverage you'll ever see for 14 yards. Standard catch every receiver in the league makes. Third was an interesting one. He had man at about the 5. He got open on a slant (or we can call it a post) for a potential td, but he took so long selling the corner route to get open, he was late and the ball was on him before he found it and went off his hands. No big deal as long as young adjusts to that timing... Or tet gets faster. 4th, tet does a good job finding a little bit of room in a pretty well played zone, but it was a boot cutting off half the field and no one on defense bit so every single defender was in the area. Tet did let it get into his body like he was worried about the hit. Honestly I can't blame him though. He could've really got lit up. I suppose it would be great if he caught it, but that was a tough spot and defender jarred it loose before he could bring it in. 5th was a 3rd and 3 in the 2 minute drill. Man with a little token press coverage. Tet takes a million years making moves, and Dalton throws it up to probably where he should be, but Tet never got past the backup DB to even get into his go route. A generous read is a great catch and some timing stuff they can fix. A harsher read, you could call it two drops, never got separation except on the super soft coverage, and his big one was because of the great throw by Young more than a great route by Tet. I thought it was an okay outing save that last target which was a horrible rep by Tet. If he can't beat a backup DB in press, he's in trouble. It's clear that the QBs are expecting him to get to his spots faster, but that might be something they can work on.

1 pointI somehow missed this post. I’m sipping on a jar of shine I made myself and listening to some solid country gold.

1 pointPhoenix, no. I've often said that September is my least favorite month here. You watch some college football with people wearing sweatshirts in autumnal weather, while you are sitting in your boxers in AC. But, we do have nice weather close by. We're heading up to the NE part of the state, an area called the White Mountains, this weekend for two weeks. Two early for fall colors but, should be a nice break.

1 pointThanks! We're going towards the end of the month. We're spending 5 days in the city with her (she has two holidays plus the weekend), then we're planning to drive up to the Catskills for three nights. Hoping to catch some leaves changing, although it is a little early.

1 pointMy wife is a real good actress, has a theater degree and taught high school theater. She had the lead female role in a play a couple of years ago and dragged me into a small part, and I loved it. Then I got a juror part in "12 Angry Men," and that led to playing the sheriff in "Misery" and played it nothing like the guy in the movie. I found this ridiculous long coat at Goodwill and gave the guy a Cajun accent. I came in from the back of the theater and had walk-up music. On opening night, just before I went up the stairs and onto the stage, I have a little hip shake, and the audience busted out laughing. After that I became the dancing sheriff, and the second night I did that, I got got a round of applause as I went back up the aisle and out the door. We somehow turned "Misery" into a dark comedy. It was great, and as word of mouth got around, shows almost sold out. The biggest challenge was what came next: the hilarious "Tuna Christmas." It's a 97-page script and only two actors, each playing 10 different characters, including women. The other actor had actual Broadway experience, so I really had to step up my game, and I held my own. Custom changes were a hugely difficult part of it, and I had everything meticulously laid out behind the partition. If either of us got stuck getting into an outfit, whoever was stuck out on stage had to kick into improv mode. I got stuck out there and just started making up sh!t and got laughs. I didn't bobble a single line during the run of shows, and the only time I focked up was on opening night and not coming out with a wig on for the final scene, but he audience thought I had done it on purpose. I was exhausted because we did a dress rehearsal earlier in the day, and the mind and body are not build to run "Tuna Christmas" twice in a day. It's focking exhausting.

1 pointIt’s gotten worse in the past two years since the invasion. We have become the NFGB.

1 pointI’ll withhold judgment until there’s a follow up.

1 pointWhatever you want to call it, it is completely irrelevant to the subject matter of this thread, the abortions allegedly arranged and paid for by the High School administrators.

1 pointTwo questions... 1) How exactly is the board grade for the week determined? 2) For the purposes of comparison, what is the usual weekly grade?

1 pointWhile I realize that the Left likes to subvert religion with casting like Erivo and uber ghey Adam Lambert as Judas, I am glad at least that they didn't make the character of Jesus a female (she refers to herself as "son" in that song). And hey, who knows, maybe some blue haired Gen Z'er will watch this and think hey, this Jesus guy was pretty cool. I should learn more.

1 pointYeah, this is complete and utter nonsense and you know it. The country, today, is doing far, far better that it was under Biden. You probably don't want to admit that so have to make up some complete nonsense to make yourself feel better. The good news for the rest of the country is facts don't care about your feelings.

1 pointSo then she wasn't fired for being 70% off. Thanks for proving my point.

1 pointI loved Stern back in the day. If he'd have gone South Park and stood up to the woke crowd all along rather than ingratiate himself to them, I'd have more respect. He was 10x worse than Russell Brand but he's survived this long by kissing the woke ring. If cancel culture has finally soured on him over how he was 20 years ago, well he was great twenty years ago, at least they'd be consistent rather than hypocritical. But, I don't know that they have turned on him. He's willing to play their game on their terms. Consistency isn't a priority with them so much as obedience. It's for the woke leftoid fascist turds to decide what they're going to do with him, not normal people saying "what about him?"
