If you could see your favorite band

Recommended Posts

Who and what would it be?

Metallica just played the entire album of Master of Puppets in Germany on June 4th, which would be pretty cool to see. But if I could see them do one album, for me, it would be Kill em All....mainly cause I never got to see Hit the Lights live and I have always wanted to hear that live.

Some friends of mine also saw Slayer a couple of years ago. Came out for their encore and did Reign In Blood:

Angel Of Death

Piece By Piece

Necrophobic

Altar Of Sacrifice

Jesus Saves

Criminally Insane

Reborn

Epidemic

Postmortem

Raining Blood

I woulda liked to see that. Also heard that Primus did all of Frizzle Fry a few summers ago.

Pink Floyd

The Wall

Already saw DSOTM, which would have been my first choice. But, I would take a reunited Floyd DSOTM in a heartbeat.

OK, no cheating.

1) I would have payed just about anything to have been in the audience with Nirvana Unplugged was taped.

1) Same for Metallica S&M.

2) Radiohead - OK Computer

3) System of a Down - Toxicity

4) White Stripes - Elephant

That's a lie.

Wouldn't mind seeing Collective Soul do their greatest hits. Love those guys.

Stop it!

Nelson laughs at those guys.

My buddy has a t-shirt that says 'I focked Nelson'. BTW, my mom (and thusly me) is related to Ricky Nelson somehow.

They did. I missed it, so I was bummed. Then they release a DVD called "Hallucino-Genetics" of the exact show that I missed in Chicago and I was happy. Incidentally, the quality is outstanding and I highly recommend it to any Primus fan.

My favorite bands that are still alive and have not broken up (Tool, Opeth, QOTSA, Bad Religion, SOAD) have too many awesome songs to choose only one album and Primus has already done Frizzle Fry and Sailing the Seas of Cheese (saw that one...awesome!). The following would be pretty cool, though:

Dead Kennedys - "Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables", or "Plastic Surgery Disasters"

Death - "Individual Thought Patterns"

Faith No More - "The Real Thing", or "Angel Dust", or "King for a Day,..."

King Diamond - "Abigail"

Kyuss - "Blues for the Red Sun"

Megadeth - Rust In Peace (this one could actually happen!)
