Sho Nuff 720 Posted November 9, 2006 you can't be serious...someone raised their hand, stood up and seriously asked the producers of a show if thismysterious black cloud was made up of 'nanobots'? Dorks asking questions at a startrek convention are less pathetic than this. oohhh myyy gosh lol nanobots lol I think coming into threads about a show you either don't watch, don't enjoy, or just like to mess with people about is even more pathetic. Ohhhhh myyyy gosh....some people like a show I don't like....oh no!!!!!

ProfessorZ 0 Posted November 9, 2006 I did find one hidden gem in this episode. If you watch the scene when Sawyer and Kate are making out. When Sawyer rips off Kate's shirt and they're about to do the funky, if you look just below Kate's waist, you'll see a shark. I. AM. NEVER. WATCHING. THIS. SHOW. AGAIN. Ignignokt 0 Posted November 9, 2006 Shouldn't you be rubbing baby oil on the ass of your weight lifting buddies and talking about the gool old days when chicks weren't around in the weightrooom, and you all could lift naked, and admire each others junk. Kind of anticlimatic after last week. Not the kind of episode that will make you count the days until the next one. Acreed.
Big Blue 06 195 Posted November 9, 2006 I was a bit disappointed in this episode, as the previews made it seem better than it actually was. I knew they would leave us with some sort of cliffhanger, but I figured it would be over whether Sawyer bit it or not there. Also, maybe it's me, but I would be fine if they killed off Jack when we come back. He was getting a little (okay, a lot) annoying and preachy before they got captured. phillybear 366 Posted November 9, 2006 Weak episode. The first disappointing episode this season for me. -I wish they would stop trying to kill Sawyer and just put a bullet into that annoying focking Kate. Shut up already. -Juliet needs to die, in a horrible, horrible way. -One hour head start? What kind of cliffhanger is that. What? They are going to find a boat? They sure as hell can't swim to the original island that fast. I hope they get eaten by sharks. -Jack needs to die. -Fock it. Let the whole Alcatraz island sink, and everyone on it drown. Then concentrate on the more interesting island with the more interesting characters. This show pissed me off so much that I will continue to watch it out of spite. The second season started a bit slow too. But built up momentum to the end. This season better do the same.

phillybear 366 Posted November 9, 2006 Does Jack know it's a seperate island? No. Even Kate didn't know until Sawyer told her after seeing Jack. However, Jack knows he is underwater, the hatch flooding, but Kate and Sawyer are in cages, and on dry land. i don't know what Jack assumes, but I'm sure the writers will create some implausible scenario where Kate and Sawyer get off the island. I'm pretty sure they train the polar bears to give them rides in the water. Remember these bears were subject to experiments and are therefore, more than likely, very smart. Cdub100 3,924 Posted November 9, 2006 Dumb dumb dumb. I'm losing interest fast
CantTouchThis 23 Posted November 10, 2006 It wasn't dumb, but, i thought their would be a lot more action. A couple things... Too little on the Locke/Sayiid situation, they are going to find that other hatch or find out why Eko was killed, i dunno. Look to the north??? I dunno, i am guessing the prisoner island is to the north, and, they haven't looked there. What of Michael and Walt??? We still haven't heard anything about this. It was a boring episode up until the end, that ending was nuts, i thought he killed Ben right there, but, cut his kidney sack or w/e. I guess Jack is a bit smarter than they expected, i thought he had been pretty stupid up until that point. Yes, Jack is unaware of the other island that he is on(or near, but, that dude ran out of there to get Sawyer, so, they have to be close to the cages). However, giving Kate and Sawyer an hour will allow them to find a boat or maybe a tunnel. Will Jack demand those 2 dudes to let them go, or what??? I have liked this season so far, i guess i am in the minority. We got more info on the others and WTF is going on. There are a lot of questions, but, a lot of questions from the first 2 seasons have been at least partially answered. I think it's just most people don't have patience, and they want the answers to the island's mysteries right now. But, i think that is the biggest appeal to the show, the whole mystery to the island. Personally, i think it is getting better, we will find out what the monster is, we will find out everything eventually, patience is the key. I think Alex, the french ladies daughter, will become a bigger part maybe next season, she is pretty herself.
supermike80 1,922 Posted November 10, 2006 I guess I am in the minority as well. Although I would like some more answers, the show is very watchable. Well acted and produced. It's good TV. And boy Kate is yummy looking.

edjr 6,602 Posted November 10, 2006 I'm sorry folks, but this show is now officially like retodds comedic career. it's an abomination Of all the ways Jack could help Kate he decides to start the surgery and then help them? Why didn't he say "bring Kate and Sawyer to me, get us a boat ready to leave when I'm done with the surgery or I'm not doing the surgery" I'm done with this show. cgod 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Sawyer will ride Kate's canoe to safety Will he have to forcibly remove the little man who is aready there? Beyond helping Kate and Sawyer before agreeing to the surgery why doesn't he try to get more info from Ben before doing it? I mean ask some simple focking questions like "why are you all here?" "Where is here?" "How do you have contact with the outside world?" You know, the simple things that should have been running through his mind from day 1 when he found out there were already inhabitants on the island. I'm sorry folks, but this show is now officially like retodds comedic career. it's an abomination Having seen his act and you play softball I will officially go on record that he is far better off than you (or me for that matter.) He doesn't know he's on another island so why would he ask for a boat? 2. When he does get done with the surgery do you really think they would let all 3 walk out of there? What ticked me off is they are on a focking island either way so where the hell are they going to run too? Also Jack thinks he has the upper hand, but really all they have to tell him is if he doesn't finish not only will they kill Kate and Sawyer but they'll kill everyone else on the island. Jake is to much of a puzzy to let that happen. The show is falling apart, if the second half of season 3 isn't any better, I'm out.

Sho Nuff 720 Posted November 10, 2006 Because he thinks they're lying about letting him go. I think we should lay off of edjr...the show is simply too complex for him. He does not like to actually think and not have things laid out perfectly for him. I suggest he tries the Disney Channel...Im sure the twists and turns on the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Little Einsteins are more up his alley.

CantTouchThis 23 Posted November 12, 2006 Watched a couple parts again, obviously the last part. I caught one thing, but, i think it was mentioned earlier in this thread. When Pickett(i think that is the dude who is abotu to kill Sawyer) goes to the cages to kill Sawyer right after Jack starts the operation, he says something like "Ben has put his life in the hands of one of them, besides, Shepard wasn't even on Jacob's list" Humm, WTF is Jacob Also, right before Juliet takes Kate to see Jack, she is talking to pickett. Pickett said something like "It has been 2 weeks" and then she basically says he can't whatever it is he is going to do, he says it sucks, she says that is just the way it has to be. I am pretty sure he said 2 weeks, but, there is no way it has already been 2 weeks since they have been on the other's island. It looks like Kate fights back shortly after Jack tells her to run, it looks like she back swings the gun out of the guy's hand. I did wonder why when they are about to kill Sawyer, and Sawyer had partial control of his guy, why she didn't even attempt to fight back. We seen in his previous life she is one of those bad ass fugitive types that could probably plow through both of those guys. I think Kate will get the gun, either shot pickett or haveh im let Sawyer go, and then they will run to the shore and maybe find a boat.
