cmh6476 1,025 Posted September 5, 2007 the last thing i do when i'm drunk is fight. i'm a lover not a fighter. i have slept with someone and was too smashed to remember i dont know what happenned. I would go into it, then people would just hammer on me so whats the point. But bascally it escalated into me delving into life in general and how it's focked up and we might as well all be dead and stuff cause I'm tired of missing my dad and brother and stuff. Which freaked the wife out a little bit because it seemed that I wasn't happy with my life and didnt care if I wasnt with my wife and kids. Which I explained the night before wasn't really the point, the point of me being depressed and sad is the fact I have loved ones I miss, but it doesn't mean I would give up what I have now just to get those lost ones back, so I think she kinda got it. It's just not good to get that drunk and then let all that stuff like that come out and then not remember wtf you were talking about the next day. I don't know how we got there or why I was so mad or how the hell I got so messed up, I was just havin a good time But when all is said and done, and once I get my quarterly binge out of the way and some of that stuff I leave bottled up inside of me out, I sure fell better for a llittle bit... ADD1CT36 1 Posted September 5, 2007 But when all is said and done, and once I get my quarterly binge out of the way and some of that stuff I leave bottled up inside of me out, I sure fell better for a llittle bit... well that's why it's better to get sloppy drunk with a bartender that you trust and let all that out. they will show the appropriate amount of concern, but not take any of it personally and will make sure you get into the cab home ok. plus they wont hold anything you said against you next time you come in. they might laugh about it with the other staff, but who the fock cares what bar staff think about us??? lol

You are depressed. Drinking alcohol is one of the WORST things that you can do. Not to mention using alcohol as the crutch that you need to get stuff out that's been "bottled" up. Good luck with the wife and the kids and all of that. Seriously.

jerryskids 6,797 Posted September 5, 2007 you should give him some quick stock tips to lift his spirits OK... hey cmh, invest in the company that made sigep's wife's breast implants. They don't feel terribly real but your manjuice bounces off of them like a ping pong ball, so that's kinda cool.

Tusekan Raiders 0 Posted September 5, 2007 the point of me being depressed and sad is the fact I have loved ones I miss We all have dead loved ones we miss, but the difference in being a man is not being a pansy about it and letting your self-pity bring down those you love who are still freaking alive. Do you think that your loved one's who've passed on like seeing you like this around and in front of them? If you're grieving so badly that you are DRINKING, you need to see someone before it gets out of hand...or you will end up mourning the loss of your marriage too. Your kids are going to grow up remembering you like this, and someday, they might be posting on here about their alcoholic father. Seriously.

Life is rough, get a helmet. That's just it, I don't. I don't talk about it, I don't dwell on it, I don't let people know it bothers me. I wasn't drinking Sunday because I was depressed, I was drinking because a friend had a cookout and I was out playing volleyball and having a grand ol time. Then the wife started laying into me and it was like flipping a switch and I just kind of snapped. Then it's times like that where it just all comes out at once and then poof I am better and keep going. Sunday would have been my mom and dad's 30 year anniversary, so maybe that had something to do with it I guess I just wanted the wife to drop me off somewhere because I was mad, so she took me by mom mom's cause she didn't know what to do and then it all came out. It was almost like maybe my dad wanted me to go by there or something for some reason, maybe then it was easier for him to connect to my mom which maybe he was wanting to do

Toro 1 Posted September 6, 2007 That's just it, I don't. I don't talk about it, I don't dwell on it, I don't let people know it bothers me. But it does. You need to find someone to talk to about it. If you are having episodes while drunk when something "snaps", then there are some issues you need to deal with in a sober state of mind. Don't ever be ashamed or feel weak that you can't just suck it up and deal with it. Not many people can and the sooner you take care of yourself, the better your life will be. Don't wait til something happens that you can't take back. In all seriousness, it sounds like you need some help. Why not try?

Toro 1 Posted September 6, 2007 I'm fine today btw, tomorrow is the 1 yr anniversary of my dad's death You should be fine everyday. BTW, if you want to go see someone to work through these issues, you don't have to tell ANYONE. Not even your wife.
cmh6476 1,025 Posted September 6, 2007 You should be fine everyday. BTW, if you want to go see someone to work through these issues, you don't have to tell ANYONE. Not even your wife. why would I not want to tell her? It's not like I don't want to talk about it or want to bottle all of it up, but when I try it just hurts too much and I literally can't talk about it. Plus it's the same ol stuff that I have no control over. Someday I'll be dead, and then hopefully I'll be back with my brother and dad as well as my wife and kids and mom. There's nothing I can do in the meantime that is going to give me what I want. Nothing is going to bring us all back together. And no "specialist" I can go talk to is going to be able to help me in dealing with all of these issues, no matter what they say or tell me. They don't have a fix or an answer. So, I'll continue to live my life to the best of my ability, in being a father and supporter to my family and the good-natured, fun loving person that I am. If I get drunk a few times a month to forget about all the trials and tribulations who the fock cares? If you don't like it then leave me alone
