I really just don't get it. Trying to defend the indefensible. It's like their trying argue that he's still a great golfer, so this is just a little bump in the road for him. That may even be true (it's debatable the long term effects) and I don't really see anyone arguing against that. It's just crazy that they fail to admit what a fall from grace this is...probably the biggest ever in the sports world.

You see, for me, if an athlete does something off the field that a whole lot of people do as well this doesn't bother me. Saying a curse word or even cheating on your wife. While not the most noble of things (and Tiger is a dirtbag to his wife), it is common place and not the end of the world. Honestly, I'm really not THAT huge of a Tiger fan. He's third on my list behind Boo Weekly and Davis Love III. Seriously. I sometimes root for the underdog against him. I was rooting for Rocco Mediate against Tiger in that playoff.

 

I do get irritated with two things. Political Correctness gone crazy and the Media sensationalism For me this was more about that than anything else.
