Informing me that I would be getting a census in a week or so. Now, my question is why in the fock did they spend money to send me a letter telling me I was going to get a letter. Add to the fact that neither the envelope or the letter is printed on recycled paper they are killing trees for fun.

Yer mail must be pretty slow. I got that notice about 2 weeks ago and got the official census in the mail today.

What the other Frank said. It's all about response rate for them and if sending you letter before hand makes it more likely you'll fill the thing out, then it saves them money by not having to send out a person. My guess is they don't send out a letter to everyone though which may mean you're getting a long form. Good luck.

I was just about to type the same exact thing. I got a letter saying the census was coming. Then got the census. Then today got a letter saying that I should have received the census. Maybe next week I will get a letter saying I should have gotten the reminder letter that I recieved the census.
