MedStudent 56 Posted March 21, 2010 Some of these teams from the lesser confereces really play good team ball. Those teams have seniors that have played with each other for years and their passing is great. The teams with the great talent have such a high turnover going into the pros that they really lack the great teamwork. I had Kansas going to the final game but since my bracket was already broken by villanova losing, I was rooting for n. Iowa. Great game. Sweet passing throughout. cmh6476 1,025 Posted March 22, 2010 I thought this team was going to be much improved over last year's team after losing no one and picking up X. Yet, they were not. I predicted them to go undefeated in conference play, and while they were very close and ended up only losing 2 games during the regular season, you could see lapses watching them throughout the course of the season. Everyone hyped them up all year, and they had all the expectations to live up to and they just couldn't pull it off. They played down to competition and I'm not sure I saw 40 minutes of solid basketball at any point in the season. Oh well, this should be a good motivator now moving forward for some of the younger players on the team. The real question now is whether Cole and X head off the NBA, and what new recruits we're set to pickup in the offseason. I am excited to see how the Morris twins develop and really takeover leadership role if Aldrich does leave. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
