I bet 75% of all brackets had Kansas winning. Toofy is definitely hanging on the end of a rope.

That was a great game! I thought No. Iowa might fold under the KU pressure-D. What a clutch shot by Ali at the end!

Can Mizzou knock off WV?

Congrats to Northern Iowa for taking them out one round earlier but anyone that thinks Kansas would have gotten by MSU is delusional anyways.

Some of these teams from the lesser confereces really play good team ball. Those teams have seniors that have played with each other for years and their passing is great. The teams with the great talent have such a high turnover going into the pros that they really lack the great teamwork. It's been kind of fun watching the whiteboys of st marys, n Iowa, and Cornell show how the game is meant to be played.

I had Kansas going to the final game but since my bracket was already broken by villanova losing, I was rooting for n. Iowa. Great game. Sweet passing throughout.

:o

Nothing like a bunch of chunky, pasty-faced goobers from nowhere beating the top team

in the land

I had them losing . . .. NEXT round. This was early . . . but I'll take it.

Agreed. Michigan State would have done them in.

We were at Harrah's NKC at the bar and grill watching with numerous KU fans around us,to say I got a little obnoxious would be an understatement.Best fun I think I've ever had with my clothes on

I thought this team was going to be much improved over last year's team after losing no one and picking up X. Yet, they were not. I predicted them to go undefeated in conference play, and while they were very close and ended up only losing 2 games during the regular season, you could see lapses watching them throughout the course of the season. Everyone hyped them up all year, and they had all the expectations to live up to and they just couldn't pull it off. They played down to competition and I'm not sure I saw 40 minutes of solid basketball at any point in the season.

Oh well, this should be a good motivator now moving forward for some of the younger players on the team. The real question now is whether Cole and X head off the NBA, and what new recruits we're set to pickup in the offseason. I am excited to see how the Morris twins develop and really takeover leadership role if Aldrich does leave.
