Joey Gladstone 33 Posted December 31, 2012 A came into a Seahawks thread, stated the truth, and got a few homers trying to sound like they know what they are talking about. Not exactly what I'd call getting my head handed to me. Happy New Year to you as well So now you're stating facts and not just voicing a different opinion? Which one is it? devouredbychaos 0 Posted January 1, 2013 False The Rams are far from horrible. They've beaten and tied San Fran and defeated the Redskins (now there is an overrated team). Fisher is one hell of a coach and he has these guys pointed in the right direction. Their roster is full of high draft picks just waiting to be tapped into. Now if you don't follow the NFC West closely I can understand how you wouldn't know this. Either way, there is NO shame in being played close by St. Louis. Seems like this has already been touched on. Main points: A. It was focking Adderall and Sherman seems to be playing JUST fine off it. B. The NFL focked up. They couldn't say beyond a shadow of a doubt that Sherman was dirty. There is some cloudiness to it, but such is life. I feel that Roethlisberger is a rapist and Ray Lewis was an accessory to murder. The official line will always read differently. Oh. Focking. Well. If you're going to go back an asterisk anything Seattle accomplishes this season you better grab a bunch of pens and be ready to go over a LOT of recent NFL history. It doesn't matter if it was Adderall or not. He used a PED to gain an advantage over an opponent. No matter how you look at it, that's considered cheating. And of course being a homer you're gonna say they aren't overrated.
devouredbychaos 0 Posted January 1, 2013 So now you're stating facts and not just voicing a different opinion? Which one is it? Sherman cheated = truth Seahawks overrated = truth NFC West is not the best division = truth

And of course being a homer you're gonna say they aren't overrated. First of, it's murky as to whether or not he even used a PED. The test was tainted. No matter what you think happened, the NFL thought there was enough circumstance to not suspend him. Second, its a drug they give to focking 10 year olds. Third, only a hater would say they are overrated. You follow football right? No need to explain any further.

After his so-called "positive test" his performance should have clearly tailed off because he no longer had an adavantage right? So please show us how his game deteriorated after he was no longer using his PEDs. I'll wait.
FlaHawker 24 Posted January 1, 2013 Sherman cheated = truth Seahawks overrated = truth NFC West is not the best division = truth 1. your opinion 2. your opinion 3. your opinion but I would not make the argument that the NFC West is the best division top to bottom. Ah how the homerism clouds your judgement. And I'm sure once the Redskins beat them this weekend you'll all be filled with pointless excuses that probably won't include them actually being outplayed. I mean they are the BEST team in football, right?!

devouredbychaos 0 Posted January 1, 2013 Prove to me Sherman cheated. I'll ask you the question again: Like I said, I'll wait. Last I checked, testing positive for PEDs is considered cheating. The proof is right there in the positive test. As far as his performance, I haven't sat down and watched him on every single play of every single game. Fact of the matter is that he did indeed cheat. Just accept the fact kid.

Joey Gladstone 33 Posted January 1, 2013 Sherman cheated = inconclusive. Even if he did test positive it's for a BS substance. Seahawks overrated = any opinion on whether or not a team is overrated/underrated is just that. An opinion. NFC West is not the best division = Debatable, but it's definitely far from the worst. NFC West can hang with any other division in the league. No truth, just your jizz soaked opinions.

Kent 228 Posted January 1, 2013 As a Skins fan I did not want to see the Seahawks in the playoffs. Only positive is the game isn't in Seattle. Other than that, its going to take a whole lot of things bouncing the right way for my team to pull out a victory. I feel like Seattle is the better team. If the Redskins don't pick up a couple turnovers its going to be a long day.

WhiteWonder 2,764 Posted January 1, 2013 debating between Denver and Seattle to throw my money down on a superbowl pool. pick any team i want, everyone with the winning team splits. im leaning Seattle for better potential winnings. just wish they got to play a home game.. and it would take minnesota ousting green bay and atlanta to do so. But I don't see an NFC team Seattle can't beat. oh and if faghawker has time, please link me something from fieldgulls. i need to see what you're opinions are on the seahawks these days

They only need to play 2 games to get there, not 3, and get all their games at home. however, on a personal level, I hate the Broncos with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns. Fortunately, I can always pull up this video and enjoy the carnage wrought therein. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMmQkNT65Do

I feel best about Seattle among "afterthought" teams. There will be no rookie QB SB winners. Seattle might make a mini run, but not the SB. Not with 3 road games. I would say put it down on one of the big 4. Atlanta, SF, Denver, NE with the best payout odds. (Maybe Houston)

devouredbychaos 0 Posted January 2, 2013 You should try to brush your tooth with a shotgun, and then come back and let us know if it was a one and done too. Over the past 8 weeks they have played ONE playoff team, compared to their other top AFC counterpart Patriots who have played 3. Playing in a weak division, with a cake schedule, it has all the makings of a one and done. Manning will crumble. Maybe I should find the Broncos thread? Oh, and don't you mean teeth? Focking illiterate kiddie.
