Quick request: if you guys edit your list during the voting period, it would be a BIG help if you noted the date of the edit at the bottom of your post. That way I can get the final rankings out a lot quicker. Thanks!

1. Matt Cassel

Nobody else noticed this?

I imagine it's just to get Cassel a few extra points in the voting in an effort to have him move up the ranks....or do you actually sincerely believe he'll be the top QB?

You got it. No I don't think he'll be in the top 5, but most don't have the guy in the top 20. Barring injury, I don't see how he's not a top 20 qb, but perhaps I'm wrong. Both Hillis and Charles can catch the ball well. Bowe and Baldwin are two steady receivers, another threat in Moeaki is back, oh yeah and the OL improved. This is better than the group around him that helped him get to the Pro Bowl in 2010.

It makes sense for him to get a spike since he isn't getting any love. This guy could be a real bargain in most leagues, and somebody I wouldn't mind having around if simply nothing more than a bye week filler.

Your opinion is fine and all, but the idea of this process is to get the consensus of everyone here. Which means you should put him at 15 or wherever you think he is, and it gets worked into the mix. I might think Skelton can crack the top 20 throwing to Fitz, Floyd, Roberts, Heap, Housler... but I wouldn't put him at #1 to fock up the ratings.

You're right, but at the same time, if he truly believes Cassel should be much better than everyone else is giving him credit for, he's really only trying to do everyone a favor. KC might be one of the big surprises this year and I, for one, wouldn't have even given a second thought to Cassel if I hadn't seen his odd ranking. That said, he could easily have given him his actual ranking, and created a post about Cassel, but something about ranking Cassel #1 pops out more than any old post.
