NewbieJr 541 Posted June 13, 2014 Aldo Nova- Fantasy Red Rider- Lunatic Fringe People have argued about this for decades. It's time we settled it.

NewbieJr 541 Posted June 13, 2014 you rise to GFIAFP levels with this stuff sometimes. Seriously To do that, I'd need to post fifteen more replies with a different video in each one. This is just a thread to see who likes these songs. Feel free to skip over it.
Frank M 181 Posted June 13, 2014 Aldo Nova was very much under-appreciated. Lunatic Fringe is an average song at best.
NewbieJr 541 Posted June 13, 2014 Aldo Nova was very much under-appreciated. Lunatic Fringe is an average song at best. I agree on Also Nova. His first album had some great songs on it. That dude could shred. Lunatic Fringe is a good song. But it's inclusion in Vision Quest is awesome. It's used at exactly the right time, Louden Swain's pre-match warm-up in the wrestling room before the match with Shrute.
parrot 789 Posted June 13, 2014 Lunatic Fringe by a nose. Good selections, two very close songs for me.
patweisers44 707 Posted June 13, 2014 I would have voted for a few Nova tunes before Lunatic Fringe, but not that one. Just on the opening alone lunatic fringe takes this one.

patweisers44 707 Posted June 13, 2014 For some reason, the quote function isn't working for me, but I have referred to Aldo Nova as D!LDO Nova for as long as I can remember. Not even sure of the origin of that.

BunnysBastatrds 1,939 Posted June 13, 2014 Fantasy It's a more compete song. The begining of Lunatic Fringe is incredible but it fades toward the end. Fantasy is great from begining to end. I can remember playing Frogger on my Atari with my walkman and having to rewind Fantasy over and over. Bra!!!

kutulu 1,555 Posted June 13, 2014 I'd say when they were new I liked fantasy better but I think fringe aged better.
Thornton Melon 546 Posted June 14, 2014 I voted Lunatic Fringe, even though at the time, I liked Fantasy better. Over the years, I've come to realize that Lunatic Fringe was just generic, bland early 80's rock, while Fantasy was full blown early 80's cheese. I can't listen to it without laughing. mobb_deep 919 Posted June 15, 2014 Both of those songs makes me wish I was deaf. I feel lucky to have went 39 years without hearing either song. My luck just ran out. I vote for the first one, because the video was cooler.
