Exactly. Those charities get the short shrift because they didn't have some cutesy little Facebook marketing campaign. This is what I was trying to say from the start, but good luck, you will be labeled an ahole for daring to question

It happens all the time. The charities with the best fundraising ideas win out because there are limited funds.

 

There are the same number of people who are diagnosed with and die from prostate cancer as those with breast cancer. Yet, sports dominated by men, like football and baseball, wear pink all over the place to raise funds for breast cancer. Is that Susan G. Komen Foundation's fault? Nope.

And it is still wasting water, so what if one small section of grass is green while the rest if brown... Some parts of this world don't have the luxury to waste water like this and California could sure use some with their drought...

 

So using water to keep a section of grass alive is a waste unless all the grass is kept alive? Ok.

 

But what are the parameters of this opinion? If I water my flower bed but not my grass, was it a waste? My front yard but not my neighbors? The football field but not the field beside it?

I dunno. The production quality of cb's video was pretty damn good. Edjr's act of ice was definitely funnier, but cb's intro song was pretty epic.

 

I give a slight edge to cb. Mostly because eye of the tiger is my favorite song to queue on a jukebox when leaving a bar.

Ehhhh, that doesn't look too bad at first glance. They spend a lot of money patient services and education. Unless those are total b.s. that seems a decent way to spend funds even if you wish a bit more would go directly to research
