"Dwarf" refers to a person with one of several varieties of a specific genetic condition called dwarfism. A dwarf has disproportion of body parts. vuduchile 1,945 Posted February 12, 2015 I was at a Xmas party in NYC a few years ago and this chick told me how she was headed to another party where there would be a bunch of midgets serving and performing. I guess that was a thing back then. Apparently, you could hire midgets to come to your party and be servant elves, leprechauns, etc. Even in NYC, I probably only saw about 1- 1 1/2 midgets per year. Since I've moved to small town USA, I don't think I've seen one in the last 8 years. All my buddies were kinda egging me on because it seemed apparent that I was going to score and she was cute enough (many beers deep). Then the chick gets off her barstool to go to the bathroom...yup, she was a midget. Booked it out of there before having to deal with the awkwardness if/when she came back. Never lived that one down.
