SUXBNME 1,517 Posted June 17, 2015 As is the case with 90% of billionaires, he was rich the day he was born. It always cracks me up when people talk about how hard these guys worked for their money. The custodian at my local high school works hard for his money, too. LOL @ guys who are born on third base and think they've hit a triple. 90%, huh? Every year FORBES crunches the numbers to find out which Americans rank the richest–and each year it gets harder to join the exclusive Forbes 400 list. But you don’t have to inherit a fortune to become a Forbes 400 billionaire. In fact, the majority of our Forbes 400 members–273 of them–scrapped their way onto our list through their own efforts. http://www.forbes.com/sites/erincarlyle/2013/09/18/how-self-made-forbes-400-billionaires-earned-their-money/ You're such a tool

SUXBNME 1,517 Posted June 17, 2015 Forbes? I guess the publisher of Forbes is on the list of those who scraped their way to their riches. Self made Bilionaires in Real Estate and Investments? Uh, no. A total of 1,645 people made the 2014 billionaire list, represented combined wealth of $6.4 trillion.[1] Of those, a record 268 were newcomers, surpassing 2008's 226 newcomers.[2] The list included 42 female newcomers.[3] One hundred people listed in 2013 failed to make the list.[1] The number of women on the list rose to a record 172 in 2014, up from 138 the previous year.[2] However, only 12 of them were completely self-made without the help of parents or spouses.[4] Overall, 66% of the list was self-made, 13% achieved their wealth through inheritance alone, and 21% through a mixture of the two.[3] The combined wealth of the top 20 rose from $714.5 billion to $838.6 billion.[2] The United States had 492 billionaires on the list, the most of any country.[1] The country also had the most newcomers with 50, and women with 54.[2] China had the second most billionaires with 152, including 37 new names. Russia was third with 111.[1] Algeria, Lithuania, Tanzania, and Uganda were all represented on the list for the first time.[3] Sixteen of the female billionaires came from Germany, the second most of any country.[2] Turkey saw the most people drop off the list, 19, due to high inflation in the country.[3] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World's_Billionaires_2014 You done yet?

Maybe your definition and Forbes definition of "self made" is different than mine? And I fail to see how someone who became a Billionaire on Wall Street can be described as self made. That goes for Real Estate too. They are both based on the notion of "other people's money".

In fact, seeing BOTH sides kicking and screaming in this thread is DEFINITELY going to make me take a much closer look at Trump. IF somehow Trump were to get the nomination and ran on building a border fence to keep illegals out, THAT alone would elect him since the overwhelming majority of folks want that to happen and have wanted that for decades. I have no idea about Trump. I never took him seriously, until I read this thread. Seeing BOTH sides going nuts like this tells me I may want to take a closer look at this guy because that sounds like just what we need, someone the establishments hates, just like they did Reagan. Have not heard the speech, so I am not sure yet. I would not be surprised if he was talking about how Obama keeps letting illegals out of our prisons and just turns them loose on the US citizens because their own countries will not even take them back. SICK of establishment folks. I am not supporting anyone yet, but so far, I know I want Trump in this race and Carly Fiorina too. Also the establishment GOP b1tch and moan about Ted Cruz CONSTANTLY. So he would probably be decent. I know he is a conservative too. He will DESTROY folks in the debates and I am looking forward to that.

Maybe you should look into the 76 and 80 primaries and see for yourself. Perhaps you were younger and did really pay as close attention as you do now. Do you see how the GOP treats the Tea party guys now??? Stuff like that is what I am referring too. They did not want Reagan to win either of those primaries. He almost beat Ford in 76. He was the front runner as soon as Carter beat Ford. Sorry you want to make Reagan something he wasn't. It's not necessary. Reagan got 97% of the vote at the republican convention. Bush got less than 1%. Stop now.

He did do that, and the establishment HATED it. Sure he got all those votes by then because the people were voting for him in the primaries despite the "He can never win" rhetoric the establishment poured out. In the end, they had no choice. They wanted Bush. How the fock you could not know this is beyond belief, in fact, I'm not buying it.
