Nonsense, the greatest day had to have involved George the Animal Steele

when he stole Elizabeth from ringside and carried her away?

I would argue tat this one from 1984 is better:

1st wrestler to break the Camel Clutch.

Hogans NWO reveal was pretty cool. I prefer Mania 6 Hogan vs Warrior. Also Stone cold had so many great moments in the attitude era, as well as The Rock.

WCW monday nitro was must see/can't miss TV during those days.

NWO is the greatest faction in wrestling history. The Four Horsemen are a distant second.

My favorite is Paige

She is right up there with Sable and Trish Stratus

The greatest day in wrestling was any day that I was watching ECW.

Also, the debut of the Shockmaster.

Just based on sheer numbers I'd have to agree, but the iteration of the Horsemen when they all had titles (Flair, Windham, Arn, and Tully) was as good as it gets at any particular time.

For anyone that hasn't seen it, find it on youtube. WCW/NWA was building up the Shockmaster character for months. It was such a colossal flop from the onset.

There have been some serious flops in wrasslin history.

Funkasaurus
Bastion Booger
Akeem the African Dream
The Renegade
Glacier
The Ringmaster
“The Fat Chick Thrilla” Mike Awesome
Hornswoggle
Gillberg
The Gobbledy Gooker

Shockmaster literally flopped. Running out for his debut, he tripped and fell and looked like a total clown.

Mike Awesome was a high flyer in the ECW, which is somewhat impressive for a guy his size. I think he ended up killing himself.

This was the signature moment in pro wrestling. Until this point it had been regional; Bob Backlund had been the WWF champ for about 5 years. He was likable but as exciting as watching grass grow. Then this Hulk Hogan guy came around and the McMahons realized they had a potential gold mine. So they had Backlund lose to the Iron Sheik, and Hulk beat the Sheik, all within about a month if I recall.

So many great moments. Wrestling was always the best soap opera on tv to me as a little kid. Especially during the attitude era (96-01 or so) where it was so crazy, raunchy and wild it really was must see tv. I know a lot of fans missed that era wich is a shame. I stopped watching right as the 90s came but got back into it in 96 thank god. Then of course stopped after attitude was over and they went pg. It's a shell of its former self now of course but we all remember at least 1 of the major eras.

I was a Stone Cold fan before it was cool. We bought this pay per view and nobody liked Austin back then. I did not like anyone else in this King of the Ring tournament so at the get go, I told 20 people watch Steve Austin take over tonight. I had been watching and already knew like a few others, the dude was bad ass and had incredible mic skills.

Here is the night that started the best run EVER. Austin took it to another level and changed the business.

The stone cold stunner made some of the best moments. When he stunned Santa clause, Vince, Stephanie and even elderly Linda! The Rock and Shane McMahon sold the stunner better than anyone.

Check this one out. Not great moves or anything, but I was THERE. This happened live in Evansville Indiana back in 1997. It was very rare to see a title change hands unless it was a freaking pay-per-view. So this was down right special.

I saw Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels win these titles live. :headbanger:

When Stone Cold goes after Bret, I was about 10 chairs a way with floor seats. I never appear on camera though

The first and ONLY time Andre the Giant lost or was even knocked down. Folks were worried if Andre would let this happen. He passed the torch to HH, like a real man.

I'm gonna have to go wrestling nerd on you guys here, and correct you on this one. This was actually the second time and only other time he was actually body slammed.

Vince McMahon doesn't like to think wrestling ever existed outside of his wwe universe so he doesn't recognize any other accomplishments.

BUT, Harley Race was the first to body slam Andre,. He did it over in japan. I think it was all japan working for Babba, but that part don't quote me on.
