His raw skills are still there and he's as fresh as any runner, (1 year younger for missing a year), but his head isn't at game speed. He was making bad cutting decisions, unsure on where to go, and not hitting the holes with confidence.

 

Very disappointed in Norv Turner, he should've have had this offensive much better prepared. I expect this to turn around quickly.

Every year everyone says AP will suck because the vikings are bad. The vikings are always bad. AP still gets his numbers.

 

I would happily trade for AP right now if the owner would let him go.

 

That said, I would consider unloading Min WR soon, they're up for a tough year.

Maybe their run defenses demise was overblown? Norv is probably the most overrated OC in the NFL. So many people jump on his nuts "its a Norvy offense so everyones gotta be good!". Puke. He will be fine. He plays the Bears twice whom he always destroys.

I think AP will be fine. As several posters pointed out, no preseason (which is foolish after missing a year). Seemed to be trying to hard to break a big run. That said, I don't think he finishes top 5 this year.

He already was the starter last year and sucked. Had 1 decent game then dissapeared while Assiata scored 3 tds a game randomly.. If AP were to get hurt id want no part of this team at all.

Been saying since even before the draft - Minny would be stupid to extend AP and pay him. They should have dealt him for picks and used those towards the future. So what if they didn't get offered any #1 - take what you can get. AP will not be there if/when they finally get good.
