Moon Landing - Donald Trump WILL be our next President

Recommended Posts

I really don't see how Trump is any worse than this field. Every one of them with the exception of Sanders is a bought and paid for shill of corporate America. The only differences with Trump are that he's primarily self funded, not beholden to the party elite and prone to saying stupid things.

You have to be joking. Stupid things is Gov Perry saying "Hey I'm going to eliminate 3 government departments...", no comparison to "I'm going to kill all the terrorists and then kill their families", that's an entirely different planet than stupid.

Can't we that hate her, just assume it's so?

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be alone in that sentiment. :)

You have to excuse MDC, he admits to A. not watching the debates (getting their stance straight from the horses mought) and B. not actually reading up on the candidates.

I don't think anyone on earth including Trump thinks he's going to make Mexico build a border wall or blow up every terrorist. He says dumb things to rule up dumb people.

It's not all that hard to understand, years of Robert Murdoch's bombastc media desensitizing the base to inflamatory statements , rejection of science and mocking experts as "elitistist liberals", just a few of the reasons why he's got 30% of the country supporting him. And that 30% might be high, I'm guesstimating based on his percentage he's getting in the primaries, 50-60% of the primaries have been votes against him.

And despite BLS statements of how hated Hiliary is, Trump has a higher unfavorability, and when it gets one on one between the two, Hilary will look even better.

Bet?

Gotta love the old Trump is getting the "stupid" vote argument from the panicked masses.

So all of the millions of inner city folks who voted for Obama on the basis of getting free stuff are the smart folks ? Is that the argument ?

I know you're angry that I think Kasich is a fraud but a month from now he will be miles in the rear view mirror and hopefully you'll be less whiny and butthurt.

It's not an "argument," there is data showing poorly educated people are supporting him in droves.

Bet?

I don't bet money with people I don't know, but if you want to do a sig bet that says, "I'm so incredibly stupid that not only did I think Donald Trump would be the president of the United States, I thought it was a good idea!". I'd be okay with that. Sig for a year?

Drobs shows up to defend the stupid vote - stunner. Only someone as dumb as you could vote for Trump for the wrong reasons.

This pretty much nails it.

I fully feel that even a single four-year term by either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders would be disastrous to the fundamentals and principles this nation was founded on. But a Donald Trump administration would be equally, if not more, disastrous. The difference is that with Donald Trump, conservatives and the Republican Party would be shackled to the mess created, bound at least by association to whatever tyranny he imposes, whatever disastrous policy he enacts on a whim, and whatever hateful, bigoted rhetoric follows in his wake by the alarming number of his followers I would never have imagined still exist in America today.”

Tyranny? And Bernie Sanders forcing me to give up my wages to help some retarded kid go to college and get free stuff isn't focking tyranny?

It's not an argument. It's a statement of fact based on exit polling data. It doesn't mean those votes don't count as much but it lets me know who's falling for it.

Disasterous to the principles this country was founded on? Get a grip Louise. We've been listening to predictions about the death of the nation for almost 10 years now, going to be real hard to keep up that level of fake outrage for another 4-8.

It's hyperbole sure, but the point of the quote is to illustrate what half of the party thinks. And those half vote (or wont in November) for Donald Trump.

At this point, I'm willing to accept a Trump presidency in the hopes that it will destroy the Republican party as we know it, and perhaps bring an end to the 2 party system.

I didn't say it (which is why I put it in quotes). That was a quote I found interesting in that it encapsulated what half of the Republican Party (the non Trump folks) feel. Of course Hillary supporters will roll eyes, and yes the quote of is full of hyperbole. Like most passionate political rants do.

But the point I'm making, and let me be clear here, is that half of the party who normally votes R feel something similar to that quote. And they wont be voting for Trump no matter what in November. Some may even make the switch. They feel he's even worse than than the alternative.

Wanna bet?

Because I can almost guarantee you (and will put money on it) that R's will be out in full force to vote for him.

I'm not so sure. The hatred for Hillary and Socialism is very strong among conservatives.

This idiom is appropriate.

The idiom to cut off your nose to spite your face means you shouldn’t do something out of spite or revenge that will end up causing more harm to you than to the person with which you are angry. In other words, do not let your overreaction lead to self-harm.

If you wanted to do what you said then you should have rallied around Ron Paul 8 years ago or Rand Paul this year. Those are true 'anti-establishment' candidates. Trump is a buffoon. You're cutting off your nose to spite your face. Wise up folks.

You know what, than say 'I agree with this about Trump" rather than "nails it". Cause otherwise you come off as a chicken little 'Oh, it will be Armageddon if either of these are elected'. On a message board, we only can respond to what you post, we're not clairvoyant and can just discern what you are thinking.

Just trying to help,

That only applies if you believe Trump will do MORE harm than Hillary or Bernie. I think he'll be largely ineffective, make lots of mistakes and likely go down as one of the worst Presidents in history.

But, I won't support a further move toward Socialism just so we can maintain the status quo.

For whatever reason, you can't seem to grasp that there are a great number of people in this country who can't stand either party and their politics as usual.

We've been doing this same sh!t for decades, and the trajectory of the country is worse because of it.

True democracy may never again see the light of day in this country, but I'd like to think it has a chance.

Its going to be a great summer for campaigning When one candidate Is indicted on federal charges and the other one is mired down in a civil fraud lawsuit.

I've long assumed that all politicians are liars and criminals...even before they get elected to office.

Maybe because I don't have the want-to to be a politician...but how in the hell can it be fun? Why would you want to work in this pig sty of sh!t?

Going to bed. Hopefully when I wake up it'll be a Trump sweep and that in distant second, Cruz has a better showing than Rubio.

Meanwhile, hopefully Sanders can get some momentum again.

Sanders doesn't have much of a shot in most of the states voting today. I think it'll be all over for him soon :(
