Transgender and public restrooms or locker rooms. What to do?

Recommended Posts

Let's just make one for all the bigots instead.

I could care less if a man or woman is in the same restroom as me. I would like to have a say who is in the restroom with my young girl...since I can't go in to check on her but some freako can.

What exactly stops that from happening now? Anyone?

This doesn't end well for you guys. It never does. First it was the blacks raping white women. Then it was the gays. Now it's the transgenders.

State Human Rights Commission: "We Are Not Aware" Of Any Problems From Non-Discrimination Law.

As with most issues on this bored, a little bit of googling goes a long way. Restroom violence is directed at transgenders, it doesn't originate from them. They just want to pee. Laws that protect yourself and your loved ones from sexual predators in the restroom already exist. Making new, discriminatory laws doesn't do anything further to prevent sexual predators from dressing up as women and infiltrating restrooms anymore than the current ones already do. And while we're here, anyone proclaiming that transgender people will expose their parts in locker rooms seriously misunderstands the entire reason they want to be in the locker room of the gender they identify with in the first place.

That's true. I can't tell you the number of times I've been at a sporting event or a club And Women come in the men's bathroom. But God forbid if I ever do that to them.

Yet another illogical double standard from women. Shocker.

On one hand I think it's important to ensure every citizen has the same rights, we are sensitive to all people regardless of their orientations. But that is much easier for race, religion, even sexual preference. But transgender is a whole other ball of wax that really complicates things.

So has anyone answered this question yet: For those that are "for" these bathrooms in any way shape or form, just WHO IN THE FOCK do you think is gonna pay for these bathrooms? LOL. If the transgenders and those that are FOR trannsgenders want to start doling out money to remodel every focking location there is a bathroom, lol, then go for it.

Wait...wait...Lemme guess, these focks want someone else to pay for it? LOL. If that is your thought process, you are a complete reeeetard. Retard.

I guess, but would that be on all new construction or would every single public building have to retro fit their restaurant, office building, sports complex, school, etc. to add a third room ?

Seems like a a huge and expensive undertaking. Who would pay for that?

Yup. Didn't read this one before I asked the same question.

Why is this even an issue again?

Quick synopsis: Effective April 1st several local and city new provisions would have gone into effect letting transgenders use opposite gender restrooms, locker rooms, showers, etc. There was enough push-back that the state legislator held a session and passed a law that no locality can create such provisions and rolled them back. The governor signed it late last week. This law doesn't roll back Federal anti-discrimination laws. It doesn't roll back state anti-discrimination laws.

But people freaked out. Many liberal groups started protesting. They went all slippery slope and "if they do this they'll roll back other stuff" sky is falling rhetoric. Many liberal politicians (this is an election year) are using it for political gain. It's blown up way out of proportion to where the NBA is thinking of moving the All Star game next year out of Charlotte. Other big businesses have chimed in, other states politicians are threatening to limit travel to NC.

All because we have boys going to boys rooms and girls going to girls rooms. Talk about fake outrage.

Our own Governor has publicly said that if there is any holes in this legislation that he'd push to plug them. In an effort to quell the fears of these left groups who are scared of a "slippery slope". But that is not enough. There is to much political gain to be had.

The Govener had to put out a video because of all the nonsense.

I guess I'm asking why people care if trans people use the bathroom that related to their new / chosen gender? What's the concern?

How is this going over your head? What stops "some freako" from entering the restroom with your daughter right now?

This is what you're campaigning for.

I get the fears of people with kids. I do.

But yeah...the freakos are not the ones that are TG (well, they are freakos in their own way). Typically though, they are not the ones going in to get a peak or walk around with their dongs out.

Those freakos are already out there dressing up as women or putting cameras in dressing rooms.

Are you advocating we create yet another restroom with a sign for pedophiles? That will keep everyone safe.
