He said we shouldn't give a flying fock if Russia is trying this stuff because they've been doing it back to the Cold War. Which is exactly correct. It's what government's do. I've been watching Oliver Stone's The Untold History of the United States on Netflix recently...enjoying it, and appreciate all the footage in it, but he definitely comes from a pro-Marxist slant. One of the biggest messages he wants people to take away is how we shafted Stalin on different fronts, and provoked tensions (and the hastened, coercive spread of communism in other nations) with our unfair characterizations of the USSR's objectives during WWII and the Cold War.
