Bill O'Reilly Finally Gets It Right...

Recommended Posts

http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2016/12/20/bill_o_reilly_defends_the_white_establishment_against_democrats.html

@oreillyfactor: “The left wants power taken away from the white establishment and they want a profound change in the way America is run.”

I'd go a little further and say the "white male establishment", but I think this is the first time I've ever agreed with Bill O'Reilly. This is exactly what I want, Bill!

Large urban cities have been doing that for the past two decades. Look how that's turning out. Fail.

Why?

Because I want a government that accurately reflects and governs for the diverse cultures and races, that both helped build and make up the present day population of the country. Not just a bunch of billionaire white guys writing policies that help them get richer, to the detriment of everybody else and the planet as a whole.

So it's an economic thing, not a white thing then.

Throw Atlanta, Cleveland, Philly and Baltimore in there too. Rampant corruption and blight throughout but a select few be livin' large.

The gap between rich and poor grew under Obama but I suppose it was his white half that was guilty.

The common factor has not been billionaire white guys, it has been elite intellectuals who have no idea how the real world works. Trump is changing that. You can thank him later.

I'm leaning more towards you're all going to regret it later, but we'll see how it all shakes out. I'll be onboard this time next year, if we have a balanced budget and we're not getting ourself mired down in another war.

Hell, even if Trump operates at the same 1/2 tril deficit Obama has year after year I'll be stunned and supportive of him and his cabinet.

All of the other SJW far left crap is of absolutely zero importance to me, sans a woman's right to choose.

Hillary wouldn't be appointing billionaire lobbyists to run government departments they either hate, sued, have no knowledge of, or would otherwise undermine. Guys like Tillerson, Sessions and Pruit give me great unease. Especially Tillerson. He's going to get us involved in another unwinnable war. Count on it.

And just to be clear. I'm not upset Hillary lost. I'm worried that Trump won. I supported Bernie Sanders.

So, who did Obama appoint after Wall Street wrecked the place? That's right, a bunch of Wall Street guys. And his AG. the guy who would be charged with prosecuting financial crimes, was a Wall Street lawyer. Lo and behold, nobody went to jail. And that AG went right back to his job when he stepped down.

Because he's an oil tycoon that would put his own business interests before morality and the nation.

I do. But it's this whole revisionist history going on. The 13th amendment didn't just outlaw slavery. It also outlawed indentured servitude. Who does Mobb think they were? Sometimes, no often times, that was worse than slavery.

What a pleasure having these accomplished Americans working for us rather than the stream of professional politicians and community organizers that we have been force fed the last eight years. Obama's cabinet was the first in American History not to have one person from the private sector. And then we had this or did you forget?

Unprecedented level of tax evasion among Obama appointees.

Obamas cabinet appointments to secretary of labor never held a private sector job or created one. And they get on Trump about Ben Carson.

Hillary lost. You guys need to find a better "but but..." to deflect with.

I voted for the Bern anyways. My hands are clean regardless. By far the best candidate of the bunch.

How did Hillary manage to win the popular vote when no one claims to have voted for her?

I understand the rebellion against the elites, by why would anyone imply that being an intellectual is a negative? Intellectuals are the ones we should want thinking critically and proposing solutions.

It's not smart people per se, it is smart people who haven't ever worked in the real world. "Intellectual elite" is a combined phrase, not meant to be parsed.

Even so, elitist intellectuals are far preferable to elitist dumb people, no? If we agree on that, then maybe we should just be against elitists.

And I know it probably comes off like I'm nitpicking your phrase, but I am doing so because there does somehow now actually seem to be an undercurrent in place in which being intelligent is viewed as a negative.

Obviously what's happening is we've turned on a certain archetype, and thus we are condemning all the characteristics associated with it. But if we get to the point in which we actually start condemning things like intelligence, success, education, etc, then we are going to really set this country back in a damaging and long term sort of way.
