Gonna need at worse a 69 to make the weekend

I'm thinking 68 or better. A tall order, but it can be done.

I'd handicap it at 20% chance.

I'm saying 65 to make the cut on the number. But 66 might work.

The cut right now would be -1 no? Lots of guys there but it makes decent sense with half the field playing the north course that the cut line rises to at least -2. Tigger is +4. Going to need 6 maybe 7 under

Our guy is starting off on No. 10 today. Supposedly is much more wind out there today than yesterday. Would expect higher scores.

The boys on the South Course might get slaughtered.

1% at best. That back 9 yesterday was a result of grinding on the front. He was mentally spent. Wouldn't be surprised to see an 80 today. Or a bail after 40 on the front.

Higher scores would be all around. I think it's going to take 6 or 7 shots made up on the field either way

Prolly a dumb question but I'm gonna ask it anyway. Do they leave the tees and the pins in the same spots for the first 2 rounds?

Somebody can have my vested interest in TW stock - he's not my guy. :D

Yes, I believe we noted that yesterday as you waxed so eloquently about Dustin Johnson's smooth, lithe, muscular length and supple definition and figure.

Par 3 12th

220 yards into the wind

Tiger flies it long into back bunker. Fried egg.

Gonna be a tough up and down

Driver lands in the fairway.

Hits it on the green

Two putt Par

Even for the day, still +4 for the tourney.

Onward......

I thought so too. But apparently KSB didn't get the memo - he said he was "our" guy. :nono:

J. Day is struggling too... His magical putter seems to have lost it's shine.

It will be revealed that he played through some sort of injury. Sprained labia maybe. :dunno:

Still even par, nice drive and iron into No. 2 green. But misses 20 footer for birdie.

Even Par on the day, 7 holes to go.

Need to catch a gear...

You don't often see a pro come up 2 1/2 clubs short on a par 3, TW was at least that just now.

As did Jason Day into the 240 yard Par three into the gusty wind.

Tiger chips to five feet. Testy par putt forthcoming.....

Driven the ball much better today than yesterday.

Short game has been on point.

Lots of positives to take away on this first small step back.

Should be rounding into tournament form by Augusta.
